This must be a glitch - it was confirmed by another member here. I've been logging in through Facebook, and my profile picture from there shows up, something I'd rather didn't happen. At first I was trying to use the unique password created for Welcome back to Twin Peaks, but it always failed to be recognized. After changing it each time I came, I have just been clicking the FB icon to avoid the password change hassle.
I'd rather have a password work - I theorize, for one thing, that if I wasn't signing on through FB, I would be able to use a profile avatar made especially for Twin Peaks - much more desirable.
A known problem?--it must be.

Thanks for the reply, Charlie - Another member confirmed it for me the other day. It's a drag. I don't think I can make a custom TP avatar for my profile until I'm able to log in with a password instead of Facebook.

I couldn't even sign up as a regular user. I didn't want to use social media but ended up having to (re)create a Twitter account just to join and I can only sign on using it (when I try logging on directly I get a wrong password message). I actually wanted a completely different name, too, and Twitter managed to mangle the one I did choose...
Oh well, at least I can join in now.

Thanks for the reply - maybe Pieter will see this thread and see if he can fix this problem. Your post made me realize that even though I made a password, and my password saver kept it - I still had to click on Facebook that first time I was here - so actually, that's the only way I've Ever been able to log on. Hence my name, my photo are my Real Life things from FB - I would have had a cool TP name of some sort, and a TP themed avatar if I could have set those up. bummer - maybe later on that will be working and I can that. Thanks again.

I've been hesitating to take you up on the generous offer to manually set up my avatar, it sounds like a lot to ask. Buuut, since you offered, lol - I'll upload it on this response. I wouldn't have thought that my profile picture could be changed, since my log on is connected to Facebook. A different picture can be swapped out here without effecting Facebook--? That must be what you mean.
Here's the image - If it works for you to hook that up for me, you'll certainly deserve a second slice of Cherry Pie.
