Pardon my moment of sentimentality.....
I just want to say how much I appreciate you all, Pieter, and this forum.
It's a slow morning at work and I started looking up interpretations of song lyrics (Hallelujah/Leonard Cohen if you are wondering). I came across several forums discussing this and I was baffled and horrified by how nasty and disrespectful people were behaving. I've been spoiled by this forum over the last many months and had forgotten how most people tend to behave on the "inter-webs." I've been reminded how awesome we are. Yes, we've had our moments (I know I've had mine), especially after that finale, but we have still managed to pull together and for the most part remain respectful and rarely degrade into pettiness, bickering, and childish threats.

And even with your belligerency nobody told you to F off or to KYS or any of that other horrid stuff I saw in other forums. And thus you did not find it necessary to become combative.

I would like to once again express my deepest appreciation and gratitude to the members of this forum. I was just in a different and completely unrelated forum and I am just baffled by how the members tend to treat each other the level of general rudeness and disrespect that have for their fellow members. I was reading this garbage and shaking my head and thinking "we would never act like this in the TP forum."
And we don't. 😀

This is an excellent site and forum and a big thanks to Pieter and Brandy for allowing it to be so, and a big thank you to each and every member, it's a pleasure to discuss/analyse/beat to death Peaks past and present with all of you and am grateful for the chance to have had so many fascinating discussions, and read so many mind-opening ideas.
This is the only forum I post in, not because I'm unsociable, but because the behaviour on a lot of other forums is appalling. So thank you all for making this place as enjoyable and engaging as it is ?
