Happy Thanksgiving to all my Stater friends and Happy Thursday for all my non-state friends.

We've all heard the stereotype: cops love doughnuts. "Twin Peaks" took it one step further with the elaborate paper towel, doughnut stacking spread. Did Lucy have major OCD?!

Happy Thanksgiving back...is this a state of mind comment or a geographical location shoutout?

Ok lets go with the easy one, in what geographical state did you celebrate Thanksgiving?

AHA!  Now things are starting to fall in place, I went Bremerton high, graduated from Olympic, dated girls from North and South Kitsap.  I raced motocross all 0ver the state including North Bend and Forks.  I even went to prom at the Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo in 87...a lot pf people pucked behind the log that night,

My girlfriend and her friend tried to get me to take them to castings and shoots, it never mattered though, they could't even be on time to their own funeral.

That was no where near as scary as the dissertation I did on the Green River KILLER... I spent a lot of time in dark bars, hotels, waterfronts and strange places like Enumckaw and Snoqualmie...

I call the City of Lost Angels home now,

Jack

I'd love to read that dissertation. What academic field? Washington really does have a knack for spitting out those serial killers.

Yeah I have pretty strong attachments to the filming locations myself although I still haven't been to the Kiana lodge. I think that attachment fuels a lot of my frustration since my reasons for ever watching TP is found in those attachments and not in the artistry of it all. I watched because I'm from the Snoqualmie valley, not because I'm a Lynch fan. I didn't even know who Lynch was before TP.

It was actually a report that 12 prospective cadets and myself submitted with our findings as to his profile and lack of detection.  Dissertation may have been a misnomer.  I am sure I saw him once, and to make things freakier he said that  I would never figure out Jack Shit as he was walking along the shores of Angle lake.  Since I was working on a report about him and my name is Jack it kind of set me off...I don't believe in coicidndses

Not long after that  I lost all interest in police work.  There was n0 internet in 1986 so your going  to have to brunch  on your microfische skills,,,

--Kiana Lodge in Poulsbo in 87...a lot pf people pucked behind the log that night,...--

pucked = puked & fucked?  I might have to visit this log.

There's a total dive bar in Bellingham near WWU  called the Waterfront Bar and Grill and their claim to fame is that they've had something like a half dozen serial/multiple killers drop in for a drink.  Green River for sure, Bundy too I think and Lee Malvo of DC sniper fame.  I forget who all, it was hard to listen and enjoy my shrimp basket at the same time.  Good poker though.

So was the Everett, WA Palmer house used for interior shots too?  I plan to go visit, but should I try to charm my way inside?
