Excluding on-demand and streaming, it's 0.24 million of US viewers.

Which is the lowest in all seas3, not counting part 3 & 4 because those were released early right after 1 & 2.

Yep, it seems that this is the effect of shoving arthouse down common TV viewers' throats....

Hmm.

It's not really surprising is it?

I think if we hope for a season four, if it's based on viewers count for this season, we shouldn't hold our breath unfortunately...

With all due respect, sources, please-there haven't been any publicly released figures since the end of May-where's the data coming from?

I've no idea how much money Showtime sunk into this, but it'll surely payback with global sales, DVD etc.

Oh yeah, with on-demand and streaming, Showtime said the viewers averaged 2.5 million per episode.  No worries about returns.

I'm just posting to share the slight drop of this episode.

Wait, let me just add that this episode also trended on Twitter.

And of the many reviews online, I haven't seen 1 that's negative.

I wouldn't call it an "effect of shoving arthouse down common TV viewers' throats...."  a 16% fluctuation is perfectly physiological. If there is an effect, it will most likely show on the next episode ratings.

?

Bit partial to arthouse, are we?

?

Häxan, I asked you about the Oppenheimer article in the Nature of Evil thread.  Reply, please, I wanna hear what you think.  ?

I don't know if I'm partial to arthouse. When I'm not watching TP or messing my brains up with abstract, surrealist stuff, it's easy to find me in a "Star Wars Marathon" or watching terrible b-movies and enjoying the hell out of how atrocious they are (not to mention that I shove every gosh-darned superhero movie down my throat like clockwork)

Sorry if I lost track of the Nature of Evil topic - I'm fighting off a stupid fever and the worse stomach-ache I've had in FOREVER (This is the toilet...and this is the puke...Throw-up and descend...) 😛

I'll answer you ASAP (which may be in a few hours).

Ugh, hate all superhero movies....  Always about stopping a weapon of mass destruction from detonating.

Forget answering, get some rest, get well soon!  ?

Oh wait, I meant returns of investment, not return in seas4.

Even if the ratings were fantastic, Lynch doesn't have plans for seas4.  It's not impossible, but he has no plans.  Unlike at the end of seas2, he had planned for seas3 but they canceled it.

Judging by some of the posts here it reads like some of you want TP to fail for not delivering your personal vision of what it should be like.

As the orange one would say, "Sad".
