I'm wondering if it was intentionally planned to allow the reaction to Part 8 to fully blossom?
Activity on this and other forums picked up considerably afterwards. Showtime may have seen an increase in streamed and on-demand/dvr activity. The press even took increased notice. In the glutted environment of viewing options, two weeks gives new folks time to catch up on 1-8. Hmmmmm....
I definitely think it was intentional.
I'd say so since I've never heard of a show taking a week off for the 4th.
I hate it though.

At first, yes.....then around 8pm PST I started turning into Frank Booth!
My Sunday nights consisted of watching Twin Peaks and Silicon Valley...two very enjoyable shows for very different reasons.
Silicon Valleys season ended last week and Twin Peaks isn't on.
I feel lost tonight.

Did you go for a ride?
I feel the withdrawal already. I woke up about 5 hours ago and have done nothing but rant about and watch Twin Peaks. Listened to the 2 re-releases of the series and movie soundtracks about 5 times. My head is going to explode. That show we like will come back in style. Next week. Let's Rock.

Had to, came very close to sending out some "Love Letters".....!
I'd say it was perfect timing after the events of episode 8 . Great amount of time to digest everything so far and I wouldn't be surprised if episode 9 changes gears and we head full on into Twin Peaks and all the characters their more now
We can be grateful we don't have to wait til next year, unlike original TP.
