Some things struck me this morning....

1.) Was it Ray talking to BadCoop through the voice scrambler at the motel...pretending to be Phillip....? If someone from the prison gave Ray a loaded pistol, they could just as easily provide a phone call. So: both "sides" may have assets embedded where they need them.

2.) It might be a mistake to overestimate BadCoop and underestimate Ray...nearly all of BadCoops' "skills" are technology dependent...we haven't seen him use much in the way of "shamanistic" powers-but for the scene in warden's office where he seems to know what Murphy is thinking....but he could have manipulated him into thinking those thoughts. I'm not sure about how he killed Jack....

3.) Was it Ray's job to get caught and placed in Yankton to lure BadCoop in...?

4.) Did the woodsmen take Bob because BadCoop wouldn't do what the lodge wanted?....i.e. he's a shitty "employee"...?

Badcoop was "accidentaly" arrested after his car crash because he had drugs and heavy guns in his car. He was taken to the nearest prison i suppose. I guess he was heading there anyway because of Ray. The arresting was not intended.

But Mr. C. seemed skeptical about Ray's arrest from the start. And now Ray seems to be in touch with Jeffrey, apparently the person who was paying him to get rid of Mr. C. And yeah, the trick with the guns and the whole ease for them to be released from prison are weird. Even if the warden thought he had no choice other than doing as Mr. C. said, wouldn't he have done it more discreetly than using several people from his staff, etc?

BadCoop had something strong on the warden (maybe on other prison staff members too).

My guess is that Mr. Strawberry's mistery will start to unveil when (and if) Gordon Cole gets back to the prison to investigate about BadCoop's escape.
