Carl Rodd as those who read The Secret History will know, has been to one of the lodges (along with the Log Lady) and so this explains how he sees the light leaving the body of the kid who dies in the accident. I wonder if Carl will have a bigger part to play???

Before he goes to town, a guy gets in the car with him and Carl asks about Linda who is now in a wheelchair. Does anyone else think make Linda is Mrs Tremond/Chalfont and the guy who got in the car and has quit smoking is her infamous grandson?

We know that spirits from the lodge can act normally in the real world from looking at Mike in the original series (shoe salesman).

Thoughts? Also, great episode, parts of it were horrifying. Everytime something seems like it's about to shock Dougie awake I get excited!

There was a "Linda" introduced in the previous episode, played by Jane Levy.  She didn't appear to need a wheelchair, though we didn't actually see her legs so who knows...

Jane Levy's character was/is called Elizabeth, not Linda.

"Linda" is part of the clue spoken by ??????? right in the start of the series (Richard and Linda, two birds with one stone). Judging by the conversation in the car, she is a wheelchair-bound woman, possibly former U.S. Military. Richard stops at, or at least close to the Fat Trout Trailer Park after his "accident", and after we see him, we see the electric mast from Fire Walk with Me, and hear that same sound we heard coming from ???????'s gramophone in the very beginning of the series.

Richard and Linda, two birds with one stone. Only the stone is missing now.

When they talk about Linda in the car Carl goes "Fucking war", hinting she was a soldier.

That's an intriguing thought as we know that Richard is a member of the Horne family. But if it's correct, how come Audrey changes her name into Linda? Is she moving into some kind of witness protection program or something?

TDM for PTSD veterans being a focus of his foundation, I can see him using this as a venue to raise awareness.

I have a feeling based, on nothing, that Linda will be played by Sheryl lee. Her characters in Winters Bone and Texas Killing fields would fit in at the new Fat Trout Trailer Park.

Wow, that would be wild!  I never even considered that.  But why not?

Maybe, the story with, the damn war, is the story that Linda tells those around her. But maybe it was not really what had happened to her.

Maybe she was hiding from the evil Cooper. I'm not sure she is taking part in a witness protection program because he has access to the FBI system.

On Wikipedia episode page, returning cast members have green citation numbers and letters after their name. Sherilyn Fenn has a "b" and if you click on it, it reads that Sherilyn could possibly be playing a different character. It was placed in the article some time ago, and the sources weren't sure of anything. I hope we find out soon, as I really miss Audrey or whoever she is now!

  • These characters are played by the actors and actresses in the original series and are not officially confirmed as some might have a new character.

Good point about the room number at the Great Northern...possible. On another thread a poster also points out the Andy was supposed to meet the owner of the truck that Richard was driving when he killed the kid at 4:30.... hmmmm..Linda being a veteran (or so implied) by Carl and Mickey..does this tie us back to Major Briggs?
