Speaking of which: has anyone already noticed here that Jade and Janey-E have the same lines when MemoryLossCooper-concidered-to-be-Dougie exits their respective cars? Seeing that Naomi Watts played a doublerole in MulHolland Drive (waybackwhen, 2001) this is becoming all-too-logical. Black & White, Blonde & Black, both ladies talking about & receiving money...

Yeah i like to think that for myself too that most of David's movies, the ones who you mentioned are in the same universe.

As for Richard Horne he looks like a psycho and as i said before i'm really looking forward to his storyline, a yrev 😛 very interesting character.

Agree with Agent Gallagher and Kim Frostlind - I was immediately struck by his resemblance to Audrey.  We know her character had a strong attraction to Dale Cooper - and that she survived the explosion at the conclusion of Series 2, which leaves open the terrifying possibility that she connected with DoppelCoop 25 years back.  Clearly DoppelCoop exploits the 'contacts' available to him, given his use of FBI clearances and technology etc which we can assume were available to Dale Cooper... it would be a shocking twist to discover that the doppelganger fathered a child with Audrey, maybe even sexually attacked Audrey before disappearing.  There's a hint of Bob about this character, his reaction to the girl asking for a light for her cigarette immediately called to mind how we were told by Leland Palmer that Bob used to flick matches at him and say 'want to play with fire'?

Also the way Richard holds his cigarette reminds me of the way Audrey was holding it in an early episode of season one if i'm not mistaken.

But still i dont believe he is Audrey's son, more like Jerry's

Audrey hasn't entered as yet, we don't know what she's up to now, what's happened to her since the days of bank explosion. I wouldn't make assumptions, a bit cart-before-the-horse.

Tangent on Blue Velvet: that film had no overt supernatural element in it ( though you could maybe say suggested ).

I agree Richard is Cooper's.  I assume he seduced Audrey, it was traumatic and she never told anyone. She got pregnant and said it was Justice John's.  And to keep it easy story telling, at some point JJW dies so he doesn't need to be a part of this season. Maybe JJW and Audrey got married and she ends up with all his money?  If people want her to own the New York building, there's how she could fund it. (I don't think she owns the building, she has no knowledge of the lodge).

There is a definite similarity to the way Richard Horne violently grabs Charlotte and pulls her closer, and the way Doppelcoop did the same thing to Darya previously. I think that might be a hint Mr. C is Richard's father (which would then have to mean Audrey is the mother).

He also behaves like Bobby Peru.

It would also explain why Philip Gerard mentions him in the red room.

If he is RICHARD then who might be Linda? He reminded me of Bobby Peru instead of Frank Booth. I was wondering, why he gave so much Money to the Cop? Wasnt it the cynical Cop?

IS he a cop? Anyway, most likely payment for a drug deal.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think Richard is Ben's son, as earlier episodes indicated that Ben has indeed reformed himself after S2 and is no longer "chasing his secretaries." So I have a feeling he is Audrey and DoppelCoop,  although Jerry (who seems to be addicted to meth, which might explain why Richard is also a dealer) is a distant possibility as well.

I suspect Jerry Horne's kid.

That is my guess. Or a relative we haven't met. I'd be real surprised if he is Audrey's

After he gets out of prison, Richard changes his name and continues his life of crime as "Frank Booth" - now we know about "Frank Booth the early years" ( facetious commentary ).

If Richard utters the phrase, "I'm Richard Horne and I get what I want!!" in a subsequent episode, then I think we'll get a confirmation he's definitely Audrey's son.
