Why was Cooper's voice so low and distorted when he met with Albert, Gordon, and Tamara? I couldn't tell if I was supposed to read that he was speaking very wickedly or if I was supposed to understand that there are certain audio filters that alter one's voice when communicating in that type of prison setting.
He was trying to talk normal and how real Coop would talk, he didn't though and Gordon, Albert and Tammy realized that something is not right with him.
He's not Cooper. He appears to have lost his ability to fully impersonate his doppelganger when he threw up the garmonbozia. He also says the word "very" backwards. "It's yerv very good to see you," he says to Gordon. Gordon later says something was wrong with the way Cooper greeted him.
Good points. His voice had so much bass to it, very demonic sounding. What I'm having a hard time with is that if he lost his ability to speak after throwing up, why was he able to speak normally (without the low pitch) in the next episode when he made his private phone call?
To be clear, I wasn't sure if Gordon, Albert, and Tamara were hearing Cooper as he actually sounded or if they were hearing him through an intercom that had some kind of audio filter.

They've also used pitch-altered audio in the scene where bad coop talks to "jeffries"-the person on the other end of that call is using a voice scrambler.

Good observation.
