The end of one of the original trailers for The Return, seemed to show new footage of the camera panning through the woods at night, with creepy background music to help it get that extra creepy feeling.

This footage was never in any of the 18 episodes, was it? If it was, it was not with that backgrund music from the trailer. I sured waited for it, coz it seemed so reminicent of that old Twin Peaks feeling. But I never saw it.

And speaking of footage: Why the use of shaky stock footage of The Great Northern exterior at night? I'm surpised they didn't shoot new footage of that.

has it crossed ur mind that it might be a simple douglas fir  twin peaksey moving wallpaper to advertise twin peaks and nothing more? its the most obvious answer. That how i always saw it. What a concidence: what i thought was decorative promo footage was never featured in the actual series.

No, it didn't cross my mind. Coz I remember when the trailer first was released on youtube, this site in particular, made a thing of all the new footage, including that of the Woods. So I always thought it really was footage from the new season.

Take a look for yourself at the end of this trailer:

It's taken from Part 15, with a twist. The music throughout is just for the trailer.
