Heya folks, first time posting here and apologies if someone has pointed this out already, but when looking through some Wikipedia pages (and subsequently looking elsewhere to verify) it transpires that the symbol of Odessa, TX, is a jack rabbit. Trying to figure out how this links to the myriad of theories which have been posted recently - is there some direct inferred link with jack rabbit's palace in twin peaks (if these places both exist within the same reality/timeline), or is it simply along the lines of tremonds/chaffonts references - an echo of another reality/dimension/timeline?

thanks

c

Great catch on the symbolism. Honestly at this point things could mean a million things and we are getting no clarification.

I feel like Odessa and jack rabbits palace might be intertwined but i have no clue in what way. It would have made more sense for this theory to be more concrete if the portal at jacks rabbit lead directly to Odessa.

Did you notice the traffic and loud truck/car sounds while Coop was driving and at the diner? This contrasts with the absence of traffic in the Vegas suburb. The Odessa traffic/loud truck sounds symbolize the harshness of Odessa and the harshness of this alternate timeline. The lack of traffic in the Vegas suburb symbolizes the blank state of Dougie.
