How much does The Return undo the end of FWWM?

The ending of FWWM is Laura knowing that part of her was always "good", even if she was somehow stuck in the Lodge after her death. But if she never gets murdered, that never happens. Is Carrie Paige the Laura that never saw the good in herself?

I've always found it hard to rationalise the apparent rules of the lodge (who can get in/out and how) with the fact that, despite being killed, Laura seems to be alive in there in some sense.

Hello !
First post here, pardon my french and sorry by advance for my bad english level.
Interesting point RootFifthOctave. I thought about the relation between FWWM and the 17-18 ep yesterday, and something sounds wrong to me.
When Cooper returns in the past to save Laura and prevent her from meeting Leo and Jacques, he doesn't save her, he condemns her. In FWWM, Laura had understood that Bob was his father. Her behavior becomes more and more suicidal, she tries to die to no longer belong to Bob.
According to me, by preventing the meeting, Cooper offers no escape from Laura. She gets back at the mercy of Bob as soon as she gets home.
Or I miss something ?

If we look at the bigger picture Laura was sent to undo evil after the Nuke by the Fireman right? Or atleast she is supposed to represent a pure entity that is doomed to be haunted and corrupted by evil forces.

Laura at the end of FWWM is a Laura that has understood that there is good in her.

Carrie Paige - (Carry a page? The last page of Lauras diary?) just seems to be a Laura that exists in another dimension. Potentially the last fragment of herself (she recognised the name Sarah when Coop mentions it).

Some people also said its Laura's third cousin but how does that stand in the future and past situation?

I assumed, after only watching episode 18 once, that Laura was on her way to the white lodge when nabbed by the mother.  Either way she was going to go from being gone in the timeline as a result of murder or a missing person.  I am of the impression that we might have seen little to no of the resulting change to the dimensional plane we know as normal.  Other than Pete's fishing scene.  How this undoes certain events is simply mind boggling.  I need to re-watch and figure out how Dougie's return to Vegas fits in.

I take everything that happened from 430 on  as a dimensional plane other than normal, or as we Young Frankenstein fans would call it, abby normal!
