... Cooper?
I've been listening to Lissie's "Wild Wild West" song (from Part 14) a lot lately, and the lyrics make me think of Audrey.
Then, upon the twentieth or so listen, the thought suddenly occurred that maybe this Billy person, whom she seems to put on a pedestal, could actually be (good) Cooper? Of course, it doesn't explain why she refers to him as Billy, unless, in her current state of mind or location, she's unwittingly using code words for people.
Eh, it's probably a lame theory, but thought I'd mention it.
In the world of Twin Peaks - there are no lame theories
In the world of Twin Peaks - there are no lame theories
Almost exactly what I was gonna say. 🙂
Did Cooper ever say he disliked the Roadhouse? Audrey said twice that "Billy" hated it and I thought it might be a clue to his identity, but have drawn blanks.
I wouldn't rule anything out at this stage.
No doubt we'll all be kicking ourselves for missing the bleeding obvious in a day or so.
I've been considering this for a little while. It would make a LOT of sense.
Not 100% convinced, but also definitely not surprised if that turns out to be the case, and that the real Billy and Tina mentioned were red-herrings.
It just leaves one question - Why haven't we seen Cooper with blood pouring out of his mouth and nose yet? Unless Audrey gave us a pretty hefty spoiler for the finale..which, again, is completely plausible.
It occurs that the dribbly guy in the cells at the sheriff station ALSO has a habit of repeating the last thing anyone says, in the same way that DougieCoop did before the electrocution incident.
Could be a coincidence, and I doubt he's Diane, but could he be Billy?
