Some of Audrey's moves in her dance look like hula gestures. I wonder if they actually are and what they might actually mean.
I was thinking about it too, at some points she seems to be swimming or brushing something aside, or making her way through curtains.
It has me rethinking the significance of her dance in the original.
No ideas tho, just feels important.
I didn't want to work out whether it meant anything. I just loved it.
I wonder how this scene comes over if you haven't seen the original seasons of Twin Peaks? In fact, I wonder in general what The Return is like for anyone who hasn't watched the original. Part of me wishes I hadn't so I could know how this film-of-18-parts would come over just on its on merits.
But this scene in particular was so redolent with original Audrey.

I'm sure glad I re-watched the original seasons and FWWM right before this premiered. I think I might be lost if I hadn't. So many things I would have forgotten and probably been completely lost..... more so than I am already. 🙂
