Hello everybody!
I'm a long time follower posting for the first time.
After watching tonight's episode, i.e. Mr. C typing the infamous "Las Vegas?" message, I tried to figure out a way to put everything in the correct chronological order (nonlinear narration feels obvious to me at this point).
Searching for clues I found a time reference in part 12 that I don't think has been pointed out so far. In the scene with Miriam lying in her hospital bed if you look closely to the monitor above her head it displays a date which looks like "24 Sep 16". That would means that Richard ran over the little boy a few days before.
Then I focused on other known time references we got during the show. I'm still working on it but I haven't got enough free time so if anybody has seen any other clues please reply! 🙂
1. In Part 7 Andy takes a look at his watch while waiting for someone we assume was the owner of the truck driven by Richard. It displays a number, 10, which should be the day of the month, but which month? If it's September feels a bit too early, while if it's October it would be too late, 9 days after the discovery of Naido in the forest!
2. In Part 9 Hastings signs and dates the photo of Major Briggs, writing 9/29 (29 Sep 16)
3. In Part 3 American Girl looks at her watch which display 2:53 on a Saturday 1 . The month is not shown but if we assume that The Return is happening in 2016 that must be Saturday October 1st. So this would mean Cooper switching places with Dougie and Mr. C crashing his car in that particular moment. Mr. C then goes to jail and it starts the "Gordon Storyline"; but how is this possible, given point n.2 above? The only "reasonable" explanation is that time in the Lodge, as we already know, is not linear, but it still fells a bit off. My take is that Naido flipping the switch in Part. 3 did something to the timeline.
What do you think? Did you find other time references that could put order in the timeline? Feel free to correct me if I did some mistakes and let's try to figure it out together! 🙂
I wouldn't bother to try and track the different timelines if I were you. It'll drive you bonkers.
(I know - I was doing it.)
The timelines in different locations sometimes intersect but also progess at different rates from week to week, so they go in and out of sync. There also may be flashbacks/flash forwards (notably in Twin Peaks).

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who tried to do it!
I'll just leave this here, in case someone wants to add their discoveries about the timeline.
It really is difficult but I was hoping that the more clues we find, the easier would be to decipher it!
Welcome, and thanks for a well-researched first post!
I think it is a brave attempt to line up the times, one that may ultimately be frustrated...
