It was there all along. While we were all focusing on the Cherry Pies, the real clue to Dougie's fate was hiding in plain sight. Well done to Frost & Lynch for showing/hiding the fork.

It's not about the bunny after all.  It was always about the fork.

IS it about the bunny?

No, it's not about the bunny.

Say in a Northern Irish accent: "Gimme the fork an' knife!"

Back to the fork, I wonder if the first time Dougie Coop picks up a fork he grabbed the wrong end first. A little foreshadowing? I'll have to go back and look

I don't really get why the fork would have been foreshadowed? I don't remember any scene focusing in a fork...

There have been dozens upon dozens of scenes foreshadowing the fork. Everytime Cooper at a piece of pie, or ate anything at all! It's always been about the fork!

Of course, we're just being cheeky.  Don't take any of this TOO seriously. 😀

That would've been the pancake-eating scene where he had the tie around his head.

Indeed. First fork spotted in episode 3.

Does seem he remembers the function of a fork the first time.

I was almost sure Janey E flipped his fork around in that scene but it was probably her fixing his tie instead
