the only concrete thing I took from that scene... 3 bottles of vodka wasn't nearly enough... it seemed there was plenty of tomato juice left though LOL
Funnily enough I noticed that too, easily 4 parts vodka to 1 part juice. Sarah is hardcore

My hero.
The bottle she had on the chest in front of her was almost empty, as was the half bottle she got from the kitchen. You guys must be real lightweights; that ain't enough to get a mouse drunk where I come from.

Yes, because she already drank them.
Battling Bud was my very first thought upon seeing the boxing. I hoped the footage would reveal both boxers' names... but then it started looping. I couldn't discern anything special from it other than boxing, time looping, electricity, and mentioning of ears. I've got no insight!

Maybe - if my idea is correct - the good guys don't think it's a good idea to name names, in case it puts those involved in danger. It seems Mr C is gunning for Coop anyhow, so he needs a few helping hands around him.
Ears, you say? Listen... it is in our house now.
The dialogue is very uninformed for a boxing match.
He hits the big guy in the ear.
The gentleman sees if he is alright.
It might be round 1 or 2.
No names, calling the ref the gentleman....
And not knowing what round it is. All very odd.....
The Giant is dressed much like an old-school boxing ref, for whatever that's worth.

Along with that electrical cackle indicating the loop starting over, it was very surreal and disturbing.
The loop of the commentary and tv crackling happens seven times the same but the next loop is different. It starts the same but there is a tv crackle before the part about asking if he is ok and then the part about the round 1 or 2 is not heard. Then the loop finishes as normal and there's the tv crackling and the commentary starts again as the scene ends

Good observation. I thought they were different, but I haven't watched it again and I was so caught up in looking for other things and watching Sarah, I lost track of the actual contents of the loop. Thank you for reminding me to go back and watch that scene a few times.
Has anyone identified where the footage came from yet? Probably no relevant, but who knows?
Wherever it's from I have a feeling it's supposed to be Battling Bud. Someone/Something is reaching out to Sarah to tell her Bushnell is taking care of Coop.
At times, have a feeling: Cooper=Lynch.

How do you mean? Please explain.
That's a good point..... my first instinct was one side studying the other ..... like a team studies it's opponent ...... and that maybe Sarah has been overcome by a demonic force that may eventually be on one team with Battling Bud and Dougie being on another ..... but that's maybe a tad too obvious LOL
If you're the good guys sending the cavalry, you don't tell the other side what you're up to.
I think the good guys know that whatever is bad in Sarah's house is contained in the kitchen, also she has a lot of time in front of the telly. So, perfect opportunity to attempt some sort of contact. It wouldn't do to be too overt, just in case the baddies are keeping an eye on things, so try something a bit low key, not so obvious, and hope that Sarah can join the dots.
Kind of the way Lynch and Frost do with us, the viewers. How very meta.
Hope the "good-guys" do not to stumble over all the empty bottles ...
