We have been through 12 parts and there are only 6 parts remaining. I never expect Lynch to wrap up everything and answer every question. But from the rate things are going up to Part 12, the only way I can see Lynch producing something approaching a remotely sensible ending to the whole thing is if he pulls a twist on the timelines of all these parts we have been watching. We are way past the halfway point and simply don't have time anymore.
I am confused by the timelines now after that episode. In the original 2 series of Twin Peaks each episode was one day following another day. In episode 9 we had Mr C telling Hutch to kill the warden and yet it happens in episode 12. Also in episode 9 we have the Las Vegas police getting fingerprints off Dougie Jones and yet still no one as picked it up. Dates are obviously important to Twin Peaks else they wouldn't mention specific dates and times and yet watching the show I feel the action in the show doesn't correspond to the actual days or dates it supposedly feels are important. The narrative shown doesn't correspond with linear time.
Is this 18 part season actually taking place over a short time span, like a few weeks maximum, leaving us feeling completely disoriented as we muddle through over a few months? Adding to this fragmented feel is the multiple locations/stories.
I binge rewatched the first half of this season and it had a nicer flow to it ~ my anticipation seems to exacerbate the drawn out sensation when watching episodes for the first time.
The fact that we see Diane in her read leathery to have drinks with cole Albert and Tammy , the top she wears to see bad coop. Then she goes down to the bar in the green top from when she first sees the coordinates on the arm. Timeline all messed up.

I noticed that as well. Now I'm convinced this is not happening on a linear timeline. They even made a point of showing Diane again trying memorize the coordinates in her green shirt. Like any of us forgot about Diane doing that.
