I hope the final episode is a introduction to season 4, and we are dancing on the table full of happiness instead of crying for months
Same here. Brace yourself.
I like your enthusiasm! I am behind you all the way!

I wouldn't be unhappy, that's for sure. But I prefer to enjoy this one as if it were the last one.
i don't, i wanna see more more more more more much moreeeeeee of the charactors from our good old Twin peaks!
I'm crossing my fingers that the final episode will be movie length.
Loooooong movie length. Like The Cure for Insomnia long.
Not sure if I'd like to see a Season 4, or not. Just having The Return for a few months is gratifying enough.
IF they do another season, remember that it likely won't air for awhile. Season 3 that we're watching now was record primarily in 2015, with production ending in early 2016. Showtime wanted it to air later in 2016, but Lynch wasn't ready.
So.... we've heard nothing about production for a Season 4 yet. *If* they do it, look for it to air, at the earliest, in 2019.

Parts 17 & 18 will be like Parts 1 & 2, shown consecutively on September 3rd.
Here is what will happen with the final episode:
I'll watch it in the dark while drinking black coffee and eating cherry pie.
The final scene will happen. The credits will roll. The Lynh/Frost will startle me as it always does.
I'll sit there in silence. Maybe with tears in my eyes maybe mouth agape.
And then I'll play either the pilot or episode 1 season 3 depending on the big picture reveals
I assume the finale will cause us to reevaluate everything and it will start to fold in on it self. We will see many things in a new light. And I'll start examining it again.
I really like TP but it was said by Lynch there won't be any continuation (notice that it does not imply spin offs, a movie or whatever else). Nevertheless, I heard about some Lynch's answers to Japanese fans dening in a subtle way.
Last two episodes will be broadcast the same week. Maybe they're shot like a movie itself of two parts, as the first ones. It resembles some kind of cycle.
For me, I think it's time for a proper end.

It wouldn't be the first time Lynch has changed his mind over Twin Peaks. Provided there's something interesting to say in the show, I'd be very happy for it to continue.
The final episode will be the catalyst for meeting my health insurance deductible.
Only if it would be announced before the last ep ends. But I truly doubt that. Even if 4 happens, and I would like 1 more season, I dont think Showtime and Lynch and Frost would all be certain enough by then to announce it.
If it isn't announced I will watch the finale assuming it's the last thing I ever see for TP, and we better get some semblance of old Coop. This spit dribbler we are seeing now is wearing thin. He doesnt have to be full on old Coop but I want him to be aware of who he was. If spit dribbler is still with us at the end I will consider the whole thing a huge disappointment myself.
p.s. I know he doesnt actually dribble, its just my nickname for him
I havent heard this. Have a link?
