So, we will know every word she whispered to Coop 25 years ago. I think  it´s possible.

I hope it DOES end on a cliffhanger. The last one kept us engaged for 25 years. And I am not looking for "more" (though I will joyfully accept it, if it ever comes- I am trying to fully experience the joy of this impossible moment).

There are never going to be "answers" in TP. Only deeper questions...

I think we know what she whispered to him 25 years ago: "My father killed me"

I don't think we know what she whispered to him in TPTR Part One!

The only problem with that is, at 58 there's a distinct possibility I'll have croaked before the next one comes around.  I'd rather be here to enjoy it.

I would also dislike a loop thing, but the small changes done to the universal story in our dimension is echoing into other dimensions and may alter the future there 🙂 so the question might be ,, not which timeline we are watching,, might be what parallel dimension we r watching ,, just a thought

We might actually need to change our underpants afterwards.

Of course not

I've got a year on you there, so I share the sentiment. Who knows what comes after, though? Perhaps we will watch from "The zone"

I suspect there is not going to be a happy ending. In fact I think we have seen the ending. The scenes with Cooper with the ??????? is the end. I am beginning to think Cooper leads something into the house over the purple ocean and traps it there but he is trapped also.

A note on the stair scene, it is the same stairs on the vortex scene, and my view is someone goes in at some point.

I've yet to be correct about a single TP related theory I've ever speculated on.  And I think that's part of why I love it so...

Intense like the last image of the last episode of "The Sopranos" ?

Twin Peaks S03E18 : everybody in front of the entrance of the lodges, a black screen, thank you and goodbye !  😛

At risk of a tangent here. (Sorry Pieter). I thought the end of the Sopranos was brilliant and given the life he / they led, the things he did, their suffering was always going to be wondering whether someone was about to whack them. The fact it didn't happen gave us the opportunity to choose our own ending. For me it was fear and paranoia, albeit buried deep.

I haven't let myself think of the ending of TP yet, preferring to let it play out as it chooses. The word journey has become a cliche now, but it's the journey rather than the destination, and boy are we having one. That said I am firmly convinced there is sufficient setup in place for future payoff. Rather like having a pan shot of a cutlass or gun hung on a wall, or sitting on a table, one can't not use that later, it's misleading to the audience. Rules however are made to be broken, but broken badly it shows, broken well it's brilliant. So, again, looks like we'll find out, at least something, for example around what Laura said to Coop at the start.

I am so darn excited for part 12 - Let's Rock!

that what concerns me a little I personal feel Lynch is giving a clues that something is like a dream like state.. and when I see one of the titles of an episode having to do something with dreams I get nervous.  But this is lynch so I'm going to enjoy the ride

It's a question that keeps appearing but honestly, are Lynch and Frost really going to serve up that tired old cliche?

It's been done to death, to the point of ridicule, in so many tv shows that I cannot see them risking the opprobrium of the fans, casual viewers and the potential of alienating viewers of a further series, should it happen.

The message that comes through to me is, as has been said about the Universe, it's not only weirder than you imagine, it's weirder than you can imagine.

I would add that even Lynch has done it before. In his own way, but he did.

Mulholland Drive?

That's the only one I can think of.
