Today saw the publication of the first installment of a massive Twin Peaks theory from John Bernardy. I've read the whole thing, and I have to say it is pretty interesting. I don't know that I _agree_ with it, but it is certainly interesting to think about. I thought you all would appreciate it (if there's still anyone around these parts on a regular basis)

Thanks Cameron. I am still very interested and do pop in here when I see something new. Wish there were more productions but we could continue to seek understanding of the series, as it exists,  indefinitely. Thanks for posting this and I will look at it.

That is an excellent read!     I'm not sure that I agree with everything,   but it certainly made me think about a lot of content that I'd not thought on for quite some time.      Thanks for posting the link.

Yeah, I don't necessarily agree with the approach either, but it's interesting. I guess I am not sure that it is possible to pull off such an overarching theory, but Bernardy at least gets close to making one work.

There are five parts, one coming out each day this week. Here's Part 2:  https://25yearslatersite.com/2019/01/08/twin-peaks-navigating-between-two-worlds-part-2-of-5-electricity-nexus-22b/

And here's Part 5, which contains links to all of the previous:  https://25yearslatersite.com/2019/01/11/twin-peaks-navigating-between-two-worlds-part-5-of-5-electricity-nexus-22e/

It's a lot to digest, overall, but I find the stuff about alchemy and loops to be pretty intriguing. I'm not sure about the metaphysics, but the suggestion that Twin Peaks is about trauma certainly strikes me as on point. What do you all think?

Huh, did the way I did that somehow erase the stuff I wrote about the piece because of where I placed the link?

I said I find the stuff about alchemy and loops to be intriguing. I'm not sure about the metaphysics of how Bernardy is approaching everything, but it's interesting and he's certainly right to my mind to put an emphasis on trauma when it comes to what Twin Peaks is all about.

I'm hoping some of you have or will read all of this, and that we can talk about it a bit. Like the good ol' days.
