I thought I saw him breathing, it's hard to tell with Johnny. Pretty mean to give us another Horne but one we barely figured out in time before his scene was over!
Well played.
Did anyone notice the cameraman in the left piece of glass that's still in the frame of the fallen photo? Probably a mistake or is it BOB again? ?
Considering the guy was breathing, I very much doubt he's dead. Besides, who would be killed from banging their head against a drywall, unless they had an extremely thin skull?
Did you notice the subtle detail of what he ran into (what has fallen beside his head) hitting the wall: a photo of the waterfall/Snoqualmy Falls at the Great Northern. So now there is a hole in the wall/waterfall :)?
And whose photo is, sideways, on the other side? Reminds of the Major, Ike, Tom Paige...
There is no indication that Johnny Horne died. He was still breathing when the scene cut away. There was blood and maybe a concussion. Head wounds are usually accompanied by quite a bit of blood, even if the wound isn't "serious."

It's Eisenhower. He was president in 1956. . . The waterfall pic is in black and white though, which is interesting. Leland kills him self in the manner that Johnny, unintentionally (or is it?), attempts to. Leland also begins assaulting Maddy in the same way. Then, of course, Mr C bashes his head into the bathroom mirror at the end of episode 2. I'm thinking that there is a lot of foreshadowing going on here. Hints at the Return of Laura, Coop and Audrey.

It's Eisenhower. Allegedly the first US president to meet with non-human entities.
Thanks for the "Eisenhower" (as a South African I don't know much about American presidents). This is in keeping with Lynch's ongoing thematic focus on authority / power and Frost's ongoing cues to reappraise conspiracy theory.
There is a black and white "photo of the waterfall/Snoqualmy Falls at the Great Northern" hanging on the wall next to Ben's desk in his office at the Hotel. It looks to me that the photo and the origin of the "noise" are related....
That was Johnny. Seems Johnny is dead. I think we know how we are going to see Audry...
Yup. Plus we're definitely going to see Richard in the hospital or funeral and we'll find out about his parentage as well, hopefully next episode.
