Ahhh... there IS a thread on this!  I looked for one but couldn't find it, I've no idea why.

If the symbols indicate that both Black and White Lodges will open at different times on 10/1 and 10/2....they could either be trying to restore balance disrupted by having both Coopers in the same world...or there's a war coming....yikes

Wait, how come this is under Part 1 & 2 now?

Pieter, did this get moved because there's another similar thread?

It's under Part 9 for me - maybe you've found a wormhole...?  😉

Oh, Pieter said there was a bug earlier.  Lotsa threads got moved to Part 1 & 2.

BTW, I met up with a guy from a buddhist organization and asked him about Mindfulness, and it's exactly as you said, Lynn.  ?

Real-life astronomy is unlikely to help because they don't seem to be following it.  The full moon they show on August 5, 1956 (Episode 8) wasn't real.  That date had a thin crescent waning to a new moon on August the 6th...

My only quibble with the day/night sun/moon theory is that the crescent moon only appears like that at the equator.  In the Northern hemisphere it would be a C shape.

It really seems to be helpful to a lot of people.  As I say, I seem to do it by accident - my brain basically does a running commentary of 'That's an interesting looking shape; and my hands feel cold - oh -squirrel!!'  It's thinking that's the struggle...

Imho the two triangles are the two mountains of Twin Peaks. I wonder if there's something about their names, White Tail and Blue Pine, considering how colors usually have some meanings in Lynch's works. Also the Great Northern Hotel is near the White Tail: is it possible that the hum might have something to do with something that's going to happen? Maybe the key of Coop's room is the catalyst? As for Blue Pine, at his bottom there's the Packard's house, where Laura's body was found. Laura's the one is the "title" of next episode. Make what you want of that.

Does it help reducing pain by way of distraction, with all the other sensory experiences?  How does it actually push away depression (wait, did you say initially that you weren't depressed because of mindfulness, or that it works in reducing pain, Lynn?).

My first post.

Just needed to get this thought out: Looking at all the figures on the Briggs note as a whole, it reminds me of Laura Palmer winking when she says "Hello, Agent Cooper" in the lodge. It's the wrong eye, though. Probably not super-meaningful, but a funny association.

I also think it looks like a face with one eye closed. Then again, I think the back of every car I see is a face, also, so I may not be a reliable witness in the face case.
