Please bear with me 🙂

I have a hunch that mobile phone devices and their networks will prove important in this series.

Firstly, Mr C is clever with gadgetry and has been sending some pretty important texts over the last few episodes.

Secondly, we know that electricity can be used by the brings of the lodge to transport one another. As per the case of good Coop / Dougy.

Thirdly, we know that the A bomb generated enough power or fear to open a huge portal or gateway for the lodge residents.

Fourth - and this is the main one for me - Lucy fell off her chair backwards when she saw Truman talking to her on his mobile phone. I believe that Lucy and Andy's scenes hint at the greater stories.

I think all of these are hints that somehow the mobile networks - the connection of everyone on the planet, anywhere, will somehow be used against us by the lodge inhabitants.

I know it sounds mad, but weirder things have happened 🙂

It's not mad at all, we already know the woodsman used radio to broadcast spells and put people to sleep....who knows what they'll do with cell phones!

I agree that the scenes with Lucy + Andy are created to highlight certain key themes. Mobile phones being one, the Red chair being another.

Yes - I hadn't even connected the scene with Lucy and the phone...

Myn0k - that's a great insight, IMO.

There was also the text in episode 5 that made that weird metal thing materialise at the end. What on earth was that thing?

I saw it differently.  I saw a box melt, not a thing created.  Unless I'm looking at it in the wrong way.

- and Lucy & Andy's seemingly innocuous scene this week was about...

The Briggs's chair 😀

I admit it's not much to go by. More of a hunch 🙂

MynOk - I really think you're on to something.  I'd just been considering Lucy & Andy's scenes as bits of light relief.  So, something important about a son...?  Could that indicate Sonny Jim??  Richard Horne?  Johnny Horne?

I didn't think it melted, my thought was it got sucked into another dimension (because of the visual), and the metal nugget was either the residue left behind, or spit out of that dimension.

I think Richard Horne 😉

Because I think Richard Horne was sired by Mr C so that Bob could have a vessel. And I believe that vessel to be Richard Horne 🙂

He is a "wild one". As wild as can be in the twin peaks universe!

Again, just to clarify that I'm not certain at all but I really do think their (Lucy and Andy's) scenes are being used more cleverly than what we expect.

Wait, that gave me an idea, Myn0k.

You say Richard, but from the old show it was Laura, the vessel Bob wanted to be in.

So far I've been thinking Bob is looking for the coordinates of entrance to the White Lodge, to corrupt good at its core.

But now, maybe Bob was just looking for an entrance to an alternate reality where Laura didn't die, so he can successfully possess her this time?

This would explain the leaked set photos of older Coop and older Laura walking towards the Palmer house.

Anything is possible! If there are multiple dimensions like our one that get examined in the series, then it's going to get really confusing knowing which reality we're watching 🙂
