Just started reading this. Spoiler if you haven't. Is the book suggesting that the black lodge is linked to the Illuminati and the white lodge is linked to the Free Masons?

When I first read it, a lot of it didn't seem to come together all that much as a reason for belonging in a history dossier about Twin Peaks. Though fascinating, I didn't see the relevance. I'm gonna give it another look now having seen the way things are going with Season 3.

I'm done with the first half of the book and never thought so...maybe because I wouldn't put Illuminati in contrast to Freemasons at all;

I got the sense they were maybe interested in this things as they followed all the happenings in the world, but surely couldn't direct the processes or have any amount of influence.

But, I always considered Bookhouse Boys as a variation of Freemasonry, TP division 😉

Yes I believe that is the view....to tell you the truth I believe both Frost and Lynch blame the Illuminati for a lot of things that went wrong

Lynch was a huge fan of Kubrick and there are many theories about Kubrick using movies to talk about what the Illuminati hide... There's also a conspiracy theory behind Eyes Wide Shut being so obviously agains them that they killed him for it...

I read somewhere that Twin Peaks is a code about the Illuminati too...

So I was not surprised at all that he started the TSHOTP with that topic
