As soon as dopple Cooper was shot in episode 8 I immediately thought it looked too similar to the position Cooper ended up in when he was shot by Josie and the giant visited him in season 2 episode 8. 

Both times he is shot 3 times with the position of the gunshots very similar. 

Both times he ends up lying with his body facing us from the right hand side of the shot, hands lying in almost the same position.

Both times there is an action prompted from the lodge. The giant and the woodsmen.
