Changing topic from the many posts about the explosion and what came after Bad Coop says to Ray about going to the farm. I've seen in a few places a theory that Ray is an undercover FBI agent, not too sure about that. However Ray did say that he knows where I am which makes me wonder has Bad Coop been shot before and lived?
Assuming he has been living among hitmen and the like for decades, it isn't at all unlikely.

He said the Hobos were helping Coop. Obviously he could see they weren't human. And Jeffries and whoever behind him must've briefed him on the mystical aspects of DoppelDale, so maybe that's why Ray seemed to easily accept what he saw.
Darya seems really like undercover agent. Though Ray just seems genuinely sleazy.
I think the Ray character will be important on whats to come especially due to Bowie being unavailable, almost as the de-facto physical replacement for him. Those first 10-15 minutes have got lost in the magic/chaos that came after and I think possibly that in terms of the overall story it's importance might be missed, especially the "farm".
I like the Ray actor and Richard actor, they really pull off being creeps down to little, little touches. Whole other league of acting from Joffrey and Ramsay.
? Or maybe it's the director. The actors have been saying he has a calming effect and can pull the best out of them.
It must be an incredible experience working for a director like Lynch were you have to have total confidence in what he's asking you to do cause it all means something right down to the slightest blink of an eye and even you won't find out exactly what it means.
