Remember AmnesiaCoop following the 7-sign of the Lucky 7 logo with his finger? Could it be he recognizes it as one of the 'wings' (i.e.  the right wing) of the Owl Cave Symbol?

That was my first thought as well, when I saw that scene! But most seem to associate it with the chevron floor pattern...

That's also possible since it is not a 90 degrees angle

But then the next thing about the Owl Cave Symbol. Some consider it to be a flying owl, but in Secret History it is rendered like this:

Which looks like two peaks with a square in between. And what lies right inbetween the two peaks of the Owl Cave Drawing?

Is there not also a version with a line extending downward?  I have a memory of that, but unfortunately can't remember which 'part' of TP it was associated with...

Interesting thought. I saw other people associate the number 7 on the case file as suggesting luck and episode 7 (he definitely is lucky for ducking at the time during the first assassination attempt and defending himself from Ike). Not sure I buy into that so much. Now I'm thinking Dougie/Dale was attracted to it because of the similarities with the lodge motifs.

Taking the Lodge motif one step further (establishing that the final showdown might well be happening IN The Great Northern; which is where badCoop/Mr. C turned up frist in S2E29, remember? Room 315?), here's the 'full' symbol:

Could this mean 3 sequential openings of the Lodges -'one chance out, between two worlds'- on this spot between the 2 Peaks? So the lower diamond = 1964 (Briggs, Rodd, Log Lady), the middle = March 27th 1989 (Laura, Cooper, Windom Earle, BOB) and the upper diamond will be 2014 (guess who? will the switch AmnesiaCoop & EvilCoop materialize?)

Maybe this is why the odal sign ('inherited estate'...I like it) on the ring now as yet only has one extra line of the four that are needed to form a diamond. The other 3 are so far 'non existent', if you know what I mean 🙂

And then we have this one, turning the 1989 diamond pitchblack, and trying to erase the 1964 and 2014 'openings'?

And from searching around, I can only come across the owl & extension on the jade ring (but it's often difficult to make out, so assuming there's just one version - and just the one ring...)  I also came across a suggestion that the symbol represented an ear of corn/maize.

So the full symbol/map could be formed from elements of 2 peaks, owl, corn and...?

I have an owl cave t-shirt just like the one here. I love it. I'm thinking of getting a tattoo of the giant, as I'm very tall (not as tall as the giant though) and instead of the little man, a rendition of our cat, Jacques Lacan. I love the last episode of S2 which starts with that eerie Dark Mood Woods music and them gathered in Harry's office all staring at the map. I love how Coop says, 'Giant, Little Man.'

Wasn't it 'one chants out,' rather than chance?
