Since we are on the subject of Deer Meadow and pardon  my digression, but did anybody ever find the body in the woods that Bobby shot? He was a Deer Meadow deputy.

So if you google it, there is actually a Deer Meadows, WA.  Yes, there is an 's' on the end so not technically the same place.

It has a zip code, 99122 and it is located West and just barely North of Spokane, which would indeed make is just southwest of Twin Peaks and probably in the neighboring county.

Intentional?  Subconscious? Or just weird coincidence?

Like I said, Lynch plays very fast and loose with geography.

Amen, brother...and time!

You realize you're talking about FICTION, not the real world. Being a native of L.A. sometimes fictional stories use L.A. locations, and  throw them together as if they are 3 minutes apart, when in reality they are miles apart ( Mulholland Drive did that a bit ) and I have to remind myself it's FICTION, not a story of reality. Look at the road map of Washington and you can see in reality heading the direction of the curving road from the TP sign would be a long route around to get to North Bend. Focusing on logic is not helpful to experiencing David's works anyway.

I don't think it's an oversight.  The pole itself may have moved or switched places with another pole.  That wouldn't happen in real life but TP is supernatural.  Something is going on with the pole, but it may never be spelled out for us.  Oversight is just the last thing I'd attribute it to given how meticulous Lynch is and how obvious it is.

Pole in FWWM

Thanks!  I was wondering that too

on a second look, it's just the three that is missing. .  And they have 2, 4, and 0 on it . .

(E-lectticity)

Anyone else who have noticed they used the same "font" on the digits on the sockets and the electric pole? Coincidence??? I think NOT !

I don't think it's the same font, but it does look similar, unless you see a 6 (or a 3,1 or 5) in both you won't be able to truly know if it's the same font.

WHAT THIS ISN'T REAL? :/

Well that seemed a bit unnecessarily rude. I certainly wouldn't respond or speak to you in that fashion. I have no interest in bickering with my fellow fans.  This isn't Facebook after all.

Yes I am aware this is fiction. I'm quite aware of where Twin Peaks was filmed.  I used to live and work there. I was just having a little fun with the geography.  I went to google where the Deer Meadow of TP would exist and I happen to come across a real town with a very similar name and thought it interesting.

Anyone noticed that in Part 2, the number of the motel room in which Mr. C kills Daria and then talks to (non) P. Jeffries = Nr. 6, same font.

And the room next door, with Chantal waiting for Mr. C = Nr 7!

I had not noticed that. There seems to be some obsession with 7 over there.

Yes I was totally hyped on that + the power pole 6 being showed in Part 6.
