I did feel like this was the first sign of Coop returning. In addition to the 'lime light' I felt like perhaps this was his classic intuition clicking in.

It's possible however that the lime light is another manifestation of the lodge influence. Look at the surveillance footage of Mr. Jackpots at the slot machine and you see a beam of green light pointing straight at the one where Cooper's sitting. I feel like this isn't coincidental.
