Is it Laura Palmer who will see in Red Room? Once she says she is her, then she feels like she knows her. She's dead yet she lives. We saw her face made of light- is it possible that we see something like good doppelganger?
Then what is happening to her looks the same like to Cooper, she is dragged somewhere and this is my theory: it was her who appears in Glass Box and kills the couple. She is the Mother (of Ronette 's character credited now as American Girl). Wasn't that Laura decades ago who dragged Ronette into business? And on the other hand saved her in the train car? Cause that's who Laura Palmer is: good and evil in the same person, just like her teen years, meals on wheels and handicapped tutoring on one side and drugs and prostitution on the other.
And I am definetely convinced that we'll see middle aged Laura Palmer in the real world. If she' s a creature from the Box, she got out from Lodge.
I agree, I think Laura is back in the real world. It looks like she was ejected from the Lodge in a similar manner to Cooper. If you notice she appears to be falling at first before she is pulled upwards.
Leland also says "Find Laura" which would suggest she is no longer there.
With regard to the glass box - Laura was ejected first so she may have been in the glass box before Cooper. Then Cooper definitely enters the box before the figure that kills the couple enters. So the figure that kills the couple may not have been Laura.
Yes, you're right, creature appearead after Cooper (almost immediately which could suggest some connection) so it' s not so sure that it was Laura. However I am pretty convinced that Mother Ronette is refering to, is Laura.
Maybe she's in the oft mentioned but never seen White Lodge. I'd like to think so.
Laura is dead, her doppleganger or spirit is not in the BL and that's why Leland says to Cooper to find her.
I will mention that the scene in the new series where she returns (with the bob hairdo) is almost a frame for frame repeat of the original episode where Cooper first meets her in his dream, minus The Arm. Maybe when she removes her face it's the "face of God" Mike saw that caused him to remove his arm and stop the killing.
If you paid attention, Laura before she died was not someone who could kill. She chose being murdered over allowing Bob to take control of her ( Mike helped by tossing in the ring to her ). Again, if you haven't seen Fire Walk With Me movie, you'll be lost in the new show.
