Hi, first post here for me. I am starting to rewatch all episodes and is halfway through ep 2 right now. I noticed that the car that Richard is driving from the motel in Odessa is the same car(?) that Mr. C drives to meet Darya in the motell in ep 2. Or is it just the same type? I couldn't see any license plates.

Hi Robert.  Good observation.  Not sure what to make of it, any ideas?

I gather it might either be made to show some parallels between that world and this one or criss-crossing between them.

Maybe it's to suggest the darker side of Coop that seems more apparent in the alternate dimension.

I was hoping the diner would have been the same or had the same furniture, but the seats look different.  That would have been a nice parallel.

Here's a pic someone made of the cars from those scenes.

Interesting...

The one of episode 02  : licence plate South Dakota

The one of episode 18 in front of the motel : LP Texas but the front is a little damaged

Few minutes after in front of Carrie Page's house : NOT damaged

It's the same type but different cars I think.

The one of episode 18 is a little damaged. (Or does it means something ? )

Ooooh, perhaps the damage from when Mr. C. drove off the highway into the embankment.

I've edited my message....and I've add a third picture

There is something with this car damaged and not damaged (and dirty) few hours after.

It's not damage, it's a quirk of the light reflecting off the chrome plus you see thru the grill at that angle. As far as Mr. C's crash the car received a lot of damage. It flipped over.

This is also the same car they drive Cole, Albert and Tammy to the South Dakota prison in. I think it's just a stand in for generic government vehicle during the show and  then they used it for Mr. C scenes as it's at least 6 years old and not worth a lot.

Yes you're right.

Just watched this part again and it's the angle of the car.

It looks like the tyre has been taken from a formel-1 car, maybe for use in fast timetravel.

Yeah, I watched ep 4 again now and it seems to be the same type of car used by Albert, Cole and Tammy. Red herring.
