Doesn't look the same as Laura's but certainly similar? Not sure what the significance is but it won't be an accident just as it isn't an accident that Carrie wears a (white) horseshoe.
Any thoughts very welcome on my other theory on Carrie/Laura.

Nah it's just a normal heart necklace. Pretty typical as far as gifts and jewelry go. I have two myself. (that I like very much, thank you honey!)
I get that. I'm not saying it's the same one. But in the world of twin peaks you don't just say "let's give this key character a heart necklace". Just like you don't give Carrie a horseshoe and put a white horse on her mantelpiece.

Kidding. I absolutely, for 100% AGREE with you, Fetska. There is a deep symbolism implied. Not only did dark entities (Tremonds? Chalfonts? whatever) steal the house of Laura's childhood, they also stole her life. Look, how Alice Tremond looks in this scene... Long blond hair, a heart necklace on the neck... She tries to mimic Laura herself. On the other hand, Cooper as Richard and Laura as Carrie lost their true identities, lost their way and look like they themselves are homeless spirits now. Good and bad changed places. You're very keen on that. And yes, Carrie has got the sign of Lodge/Judie on her neck now.
