Now I'm trying to recall something......

Was it the person who originally put the hit on Dougie that said something about "the call came from Argentina" or something like that?  Please refresh my  memory.  It is reaching for something, but I think that whole loss of an hour of sleep due to Daylight Savings turned my brain to mush.

Yes I  also think black box could be linked to Jefferies. Maybe Jefferies think bad Coop os good Coop and vica versa?

"Who do you think that is there?"

It seems to me like he doesn't recognize a difference. "So you are Cooper." "Did you ask me"

This has gotten me thinking that perhaps from the perspective of the Lodge they are just aspects of the same being, which would make a certain sort of sense.

Lorraine is the woman you are thinking of. She texts "ARGENT" as I recall. And looks pretty scared as she does so.

Ah yes, thank you.

That had me wondering quite a lot in the parallel to the box in Argentina and Jeffries and all that jazz.

And he says " it's nice to see you again " like, he just saw him recently

Just looking over this, now that the show is over, but I can assure you that the box was not in his hotel room, it was in the basement level of the hotel.  Basement Level = Black Lodge.

That's a prevailing theory is that the hotel (The Palm Deluxe) is a gateway to the lodge, much like the circle of sycamore trees is in Twin Peaks.

As an aside, we also know now that the gold orb is a tulpa.  Of whom, I am still unclear.

I don't recall a gold orb tulpa in this scene. Only the box shrinking down into a silver lump. Is that right or is there a gold seed somewhere I missed?

Ya know.. it looking at this scene again, it's not a gold sphere, but rather is a chunk of silver or gold or something black, like a rock.  Now I'm even more confused than ever.

I'd be concerned if you weren't confused. 😀

well.. here is what I'm thinking..

I think it originally was a gold sphere when we first saw this episode, however, now that Cooper has gone back in time, when we watch it again, it's changed into the rock.

That's what i'm convinced of now.

Are you suggesting that the original airing showed a gold orb but all subsequent releases are a silver blob?

I don't even want to go down that rabbit hole 😀
