Wow, a lot of reaches there. I disagree with some too.  Don't buy them entering the real, that is our world. Also, I think the thing returning to the Red Room after Diane transforms is Naido. She was harboring Diane inside herself to get Diane out of the Black Lodge. Naido is a real entity. Also, Cooper in the sheriff station saying "Past dictates the future. Some things will change. Hope to see you all again." make no sense at all in the sync.

Don't get me wrong. The idea that Episodes 17 & 18 should be watched in sync would be cool. Real cool.But when it's clear they don't sync up for good parts of it then it's time to abandon the idea.

I think the sync part of the theory, the real world part of the theory, and some more other things, are questionable. But the part about the Sheriff Station Scene being the real ending seems pretty legit.

Sorry but don't buy it..... as said above and I agree a huge stretch and mostly gobbledygook.... 

Reason I like it is the opening scene with Cooper and the Giant. Seems to me that they have trapped Judy in that lodge and the giant is giving him the co-ordinates to cross into Odessa and tells him to remember thier new names. It kinda of for-shadows the whole ending and it really does look like Laura attacks the house at the end. Kills the electricity.

I do think the episodes complement each other, while watching in sync. The yin to the yang and the infinity loop.
