What happens at the Sheriff's station?

Fireman shows to Andy.......

-experiment expeling Boc seed------------------------------------|

-Convenience store + woodsman                                                      |---andy understand how the

-"Gotta Light" woodsman (the one that says the "poem")          |    Black  lodge works

- electricity lines -----------------------------------------------------|

-News about Laura's death ------------------------------------------|--The importance of Laura

-Laura in the BL surrounded by 2 angels---------------------------|

-Naido in JRP----------------------------------------------------------|

-Cooper and MrC on the BL                                                                 |---assignment

-Telephone rings (line 1 blinks 2 times)                                            |

-Andy takes Lucy to see something                                                    |

-Noido in JRP----------------------------------------------------------|

-Post number 6 (three times, the last one in color - red fence behind) ---| the result                                                                                                                                                  (Andy star crying)

The fact that Lucy is involved keeps me thinking ... how Lucy can be important?

And remember this ...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UR87BddVEZg

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JrR_6-UOBck

She does not understand how cellular phones work, as it can be in "2 places at the same time"

MrC communicates by cell phone only ... and now Cooper is "alive" ... "Coop" can be in 2 places at the same time ....

As I put it in another thread .. I think Cooper will make a previous stop in Lincoln County before heading to TP ... I don't think we see the two Coops at the Station... But would be interesting....

I think Cooper (or MrC as Coop) would call the police station at TP, obviously talk to Lucy first and lead him to Sheriff Truman (not Harry, but Frank) ... Maybe Cooper talk/ask about JRP Day 2 or Naido

Then Mr.C (maybe the 2 Coops) arrives at the station, and this time Lucy should tell Andy if that person is Cooper (or if the 2 are there, who is Coop and MrC) ... Whatever the answer, Andy will let enter MrC to the cells to see Naido (knowing it's not Cooper thanks to Lucy) and there Freddie fulfill his destiny (It's a move like the one Coop make on Leland, He accuses Ben but locks Leland/Bob)

And maybe after this, they take Naido to JRP again (day 2)

And the post 6 (3 times)? Maybe there are 3 deaths ... Chad, drunk, Freddie? I can not be sure about this, except that #6 Pole "represents" the disappearance of someone .... (Chet Desmond and the kid so far)

Why wouldn't Mr. C just kill everyone in sight? He doesn't like to leave witnesses...

This is rural United States, you can't just start dropping people left and right.  Good chance 10% of the population has their conceal carry permits and another 10% have guns illegally stowed in their car.  Rural U.S. is some of the safest places on the planet to live.

I didn't completely understand the OP. But I do believe that Lucy's innocent yet frequent remarks concerning time, space, place, and even identity  (which Sheriff Truman? It could make a difference) are clues of a role she will play in the outcome. And I hope it is an innocent role-- she makes me a little suspicious sometimes hehe.

I noticed Lucy's hair and general appearance when they learned of the log lady's passing were similar in Andy's vision and Andy was standing behind her.  I don't think that this is what he saw in his vision, but I think that she's wearing her hair down this week and whatever's up is about to go down.  I think that her confusion with cell phones is at least a symbolic clue.  Mr. C loving cell phones, Lucy having no understanding of cell phones.  Maybe the fact that she's not corrupted by modern technology will give her an edge over Mr. C who won't be considering some simple weakness he's exposed.

This makes me think that the telephone shown to Andy during his time with the Fireman might be Lucy using the traditional land-line phone rather than a cell phone to somehow counter Mr/ C's use of modern technology

Lucy is probably going to have to decide who is the real Dale Cooper if they both show up in TP a the same time.

Just as Andy took charge after visiting the White Lodge, Lucy will have her moment of bravery and heroism.  She will tell Andy something is wrong and he will encourage her to reveal what she knows.  As many others have said,  it is likely to be telling the 2 Coopers apart.

"Pick the good Cooper Pookie."

I hope so

Why do I keep getting vibes of a horrible cliffhanger following the scene you described?

To me this doesnt seem to far fetched, concidering that in the "Fireman-movie" she seems to be very surprised and her eyes moving from left to right as if she is looking at two things.

I guess we'll find out soon enough!

I agree with you.  Lynch/Frost are masters of leading us down the primrose path.  We THINK we know what's gong to happen and then POW!  I do believe there will be some sort of cliffhanger, and I just hope it doesn't make me lose my mind.
