Naido is the Blue Rose.  There is a blue rose in a vase on the table in the room when Cooper first meets Naido.

And Briggs head floats by, right after Naido ejects into space, and the head says "Blue Rose. "

But what are we to make of this? Now that we know more about Blue Rose cases, I suppose it could mean Naido has a double. As does just about everyone, I guess.

Maybe Judy is her double ?

what I'm puzzling over is why does Diane say something about "oh Coop" and "hope this works" just before she sends those coordinates?

My gut instinct is telling me that she's doing something for good Cooper in that moment but at the same time she's under the spell of bad Coop?  That, coupled with the weird redundant text messages (first one at 4:31) on the text messages and the 'remember 430' that the Fireman says to Coop in the first scene has me all scrambled. I don't know what to make of it.  Anybody else?

Forgive me if someone has mentioned this, but Linda, as in "430.  Richard and Linda.  Two birds with one stone" hasn't been mentioned.  And she, like Diane and Naido has the same letters but one...the "L".  I'm thinking Linda (who was mentioned in Episode 6 as a disabled vet living  at The Fat Trout (?), when Carl was being driven into town with another man) is the product of the rape of Diane by Bad Coop and perhaps is meant as some sort of sacrificial lamb, as Richard turned out to be.

Ok. That really did just blow my mind.

Never even thought about the "E"

Diane is Naido.

Gobsmacked.

We still don't know who Judy is, but I think we are going to know very soon. Maybe Judy is Diane, but at this point I don't care.  This episode made me SO HAPPY.

I mean Naido backwards is O-Dian .... freaky

And Dian is missing an "E" as in Janey-E, Diane's half sister.

Maybe she's not a half sister but the other half of Diane?  Maybe Naido + Janey E = the real Diane???

"Naido + Janey E= the real Diane"?

Naw. The math of letter addition doesn't add up. Hahahahaha.

I think you're right. Diane (or the Tulpa of Diane) was made to look exactly like the real Diane. Otherwise, Cole et al would have been disturbed upon first contact of her in the Return.

But..IS Diane Naido's Tulpa? I was understanding it as Diane is a Tulpa created by Mr. C. to spy on the FBI. And Naido (whoever she really is) was acting as a vessel (at least temporarily) for the real Diane (wherever her actual body is, but most likely in one of the lodges). Because Diane's spirit was reentering our reality, it got entangled with the fake Tulpa Diane since they share memories, and most likely other metaphysical properties.  That's why it seemed to her she was at two places at once. Or there's the other theory in which I am completely wrong and everything we are seeing is a dream of Jeffrey Beaumont from Blue Velvet as he overdoses on Frank's gas/drug.

One interesting thing about the two Tulpas we have been introduced to is their tendency to dress in bright flamboyant colors. Both-Tulpa Diane and Tulpa-Dougie (the brief time we saw him) wore bright outfits; Dougie's bright yellow  jacket and bright green jacket and all the clothes and accessories Diane wore seemed to really pop out. Might be because they were made by the same person.

...Or Tulpa's just don't have a keen sense of fashion, hahaha.

I like your theory about Diane's spirit mixing into the tulpa when it entered the coordinates spot as Naido.

Just a thought,

There is, technically, more than one sheriff's station we've seen.  The brothers Fusco are currently entertaining a young lady visitor whom we've only heard, not seen.  Some speculation that it's mademoiselle  1-1-9 getting tazed into next Tuesday, but it may or may not be of no importance.

Also this:  We don't know exactly where Coop needed to take his BMW to in such a hurry that he couldn't speak with Cole first.  Maybe he's going to get tazed Diane.  Could be...

Ooooh. I'd missed the "oh coop" and "hope this works".

Those *were* the coordinates where Richard got zapped. Diane couldn't have known that Coopelganger would send someone else up to check them. (Remember he told Richard he'd been sent two sets of coordinates, and what would he do? "Check out the ones that match.")

Maybe Diane knew it was a decoy and was hoping that Coopelganger would be the one who got zapped!

As we've seen in past episodes we can't be sure at what point evens are happening in relation to each other in different parts of the country.  It could be that "I'm in the sheriffs station" means the real Diane makes an appearance in the sheriffs station in the final episode.
