Linda was mentioned in one of the earlier episodes, by a guy who lives at New Fat Trout. It sounded like Linda was a wounded war veteran whose wheelchair had just come in. We haven't actually seen her yet, though.

My spouse was just explaining the Naido/Diane connection (I have a partial hearing loss issue, so missed the dialogue about the sheriff's office).
So... if Naido is somehow Diane, then surely she'd have to be Diane's spirit/essence, trapped in Naido's body, right? Because Cole and Albert knew Diane, and Laura Dern looked her like (otherwise, they would have said). So, the real Diane couldn't be an Asian-looking woman, right?

The question I have is- are tulpas and doppelgänger the same thing? I was under the impression that tulpas were "manufactured" by.. "magicians" while doppelgängers were native entities of The Black Lodge that rose to menace their "real world" counterparts.
If they are one and the same, then Mr C is a tulpa? So who created him? Bob? Would love to hear theories!

My wife pointed out that diane twitched or glitched a few times in that scene.
She said audrey did the same in the bar. Maybe audrey we saw is a doppleganger?
