Okay this might be a very stupid question but are the bang bang bar and the roadhouse two different places? I thought they were the same thing ... lol

I think they're the same thing, but different 'branding' - so the whole thing might be known as the Roadhouse, but the bar area (open every night) is the Bang Bang Bar.  But if there's a band on, it might be promoted by 'Roadhouse ents' or whatever, if that makes sense?

That happens a lot--a bar inside a restaurant has its own name. We have one like that in our town.

When she started that seductive dance she was channeling electricity with enjoyment, and basically captivating the area and changing the 'makeup' of the situation, just like when she used to manipulate people before, like that scene when she got the Norwegians to leave and back out of the deal in order to get back at Ben Horne. Eventually this caused men to start fighting and get nervous at the roadhouse. Notice how one guy fought another over a woman as the dance progresses, which then directly led to her trying to 'return home' with Charlie, since she is now having problems here using feminine enjoyment in the same way as she did before to control a situation, while the old Audrey may have just acted innocent or happy at causing the fight.  It is here that Audrey returns to herself, then seeing her reflection again in the mirror that she does not recognize, it seems as if she broke out of that claustrophobia/nervousness inducing cycle we have been seeing with her at home attacking Charlie, then back and forth, etc.......The 'vengeful' part of Audrey from the original series seems to have reached its limit here with that dance, she wanted out, and those scenes at home attacking Charlie are the nasty underside of the Audrey who felt innocent or happy at causing the men to fight by her charms......

Could Audrey be with Laura?  The pure white light behind Laura's face and the background of wherever Audrey is were similar.

I really think this is the last we may see of Audrey...that Lynch will not resolve it for us.

The roadhouse featured a similar scene in season 2 maybe episode 20 or so when he appears onstage whilst Maddy is being murdered.

"It's happening again "

Coop is dancing with Annie. The giant says " no no." And then gives him the ring back.

So the roadhouse is certainly a portal to the waiting room of the giant.

The Giant also tells him, "It is happening again." when Leland/BOB is murdering Madeline. All to Angelo Badalamenti/Julee Cruise's perfect "The World Spins".

Dear Buttercup:

I think you're absolutely right, I think the song is 100% about Audrey.  I thought it was maybe about the town of Twin Peaks the 1st time he sang it, because of course I hadn't experienced Audrey's coming back to some kind of consciousness.  I don't think she's dead, I don't think she and Charlie are stuck in the table the way some have theorized she was (à la Josie in the wooden knob) a I don't really think she's been in a coma for 25 years, I think she's had to have snapped, and come out of it, perhaps as I saw in this particular thread-- certainly not my idea-- as a tie to Agent Cooper-- jolted out of it by his electrical awakening.

The Road House is real, Audrey dancing in it was not real.
I watched her scene two extra times. Seeing herself in a mirror, there is nothing behind her but whiteness, nothing ahead of her but whiteness. Along with the noise clue ( "listen to the sounds" ), I think she is not in our world. We can see why "Charlie" did not respond to her at times.

BTW, note about "Audrey's Dance" music, they also used it for the Arm's dance in the Black Lodge ( original show ).

Also a clue: the music plays backwards as the final scene.

All of that electricity noice made me think she's someplace worse.

Yes. It looks like he made a mess of both women.

All three of them. How's Annie? Not well at all.

Annie: dead some 25 years is my guess, dead people don't tell tales as Mr. C. might say.

The Giant could appear to Coop where he needed to, as the waiter ( who Albert called "Senor Droolcup" ) his human host, was around.

Yup, she's seen the inside of the lodge, had the ring on and new that Cooper was stuck there.

She's toast

He might not. MR. C never speaks unless he has something to say...
