100% chance that Judy is the weird lady who unlocked the door for Bad Coop.

We can see her at the very end of the credits standing front of the door.

That's why Jeffries told Cooper you already met her.

By the way she also speaks backwards...

Fair enough...I think it is somewhat less than a 100% chance. I will be very surprised if you are correct, but will come back and give you props if you are!

IMO it needs to be someone more closely linked to the Twin Peaks series in general.

Suddenly introducing a new character called Judy would be a bit odd IMO.

Then again - who know 😀

Ok the new theory is that "Judy" is Major Brigg's nickname. ("Judy" as in Garland, get it?)  So BadCoop HAS already met Judy.

It's possible.

Bowie's "Starman" is a direct steal from "Somewhere Over the Rainbow"

Incidentally, Close Encounters pretty much stole the second verse of "Starman" for the plot.  And, as you know, the extended version has the aliens playing along with the earthlings to "Somewhere Over the Rainbow".

Is it possible that there is no Judy and that the jeffries FBI office scene is a dream of Cooper that mr. C is mistakenly confusing with a real memory? Could it be that when Cole and Albert refer to the event they are referring to Cooper mentioning to them the dream he had and not the actual event (and the reason for Albert "almost" remembering it)? Is this what the dream within the dream / who is the dreamer Belucci story is all about? If so, did mr. C acidentally revealed his real self to jeffries by insisting on asking who is Judy?

just saw the fwwm clip again, coop is referring to a dream of his right before the jeffries scene, making it unclear as to whether what we see afterwards is the dream or what actually happens then.

The numbers Jeffries gives to Mr. C, to find Judy, are coordinates to Twin Peaks.

So it stands to reason that Judy is in Twin Peaks.

Kind of love all the guessing and theories, cant wait for next episode!

I'm also thinking about 'Naido' being 'Judy'. Assuming Mr. C who is now going to look for Judy (in Twin Peaks), Naido was placed in prison to be protected. We also assume Freddie Sykes got the green glove for a reason. Maybe to help Naido and punch Mr. C ?

There is also some 'Monkey' mimic action / sounds going on in the prison and we have seen a monkey say Judy before 😛

Side-note, anyone remember the Josie Chen letter mailed to David Lynch before the season.
There she mentions: 'Oftentimes I think of Judy, my twin sister'

I am not buying Judy as Garland Briggs. In the first of the missing pieces excerpts, she's clearly Miss Judy, la senorita, the young lady...

In this clip she is a young woman named Judy Wilson.  I believe the keyholder that opened the door for eCoop was a male dressed as a woman.

I'm betting "Judy" has something to with the girl in Ep 8 who "ate" the bug, the "first" Blue Rose Case, . . . and all to obvious, the "dancing" person in the white mask that is shown when Coop &Phiilip Bowie are in the same scene . . .

I can say how, but it's reasonable to think the Judy (much like Caroline) is another reason for Phillip to not be a Coop fan

Absolutely no basis to back this up but could Judy be the angel who visits Laura (& Dale) in the red room at the end of FWWM?

It would fit in with why she's so important, why Jefferies didn't want to talk about her and how Dale had already met her but didn't know her name.
