Only four more episodes left. So far we only had one mentioning of Linda (based on the conversation b/w Carl Rodd and his buddy) which mentions that:

1) She is a veteran, 2) She is disabled, hence needs help to get around and to get her necessities (food, medicine) taken care of, and 3) She lives in the Fat Trout Trailer Park managed by Carl.

But so far we have not seen her in person 🙁 :-(.

Do you think she's one of the characters we have seen before yet remain nameless (e.g., the Armpit girl or Tina, yet neither one of them is disabled though) or is she an entirely new character.

And what was her connection to Richard and presumably Mr C. Is she another daughter he potentially had fathered? If so, does she have an evil personality w/no redeeming qualities like Richard?

What is her connection to Becky and Steven, who also live in the same trailer park? Just coincidence or something sinister (e.g., she's Steven's dealer and/or lover).

Lastly, why do you think we have yet to see her on screen, given her supposedly important role in the entire plot?

What if she's that woman in Fire Walk With Me who just stumbles into Theresa Banks's trailer while Sam and Chet are there? You know the one with the ice bag and the cane who looks to be all dirty like a woodsman. I could see her requiring a wheelchair in her later years..

My first thought was that Tina is Audrey, and that Tina's daughter in the Roadhouse is Linda. But she is listed as Megan, so maybe Linda is the vet. Who knows.

Just so many questions on TP. These are the things that keep me up at night and missing deadlines at work.  No other show has affected me this way.

One thing I noticed about "Megan". When her friend asked who her mother was, her reply, "It's Tina", sound like a question.  And why would her friend ask that question anyway?

I know this is a wild guess, but here it is:

Could Linda is in fact Audrey's new name? She did recover from the bank explosion and gave birth to Richard (which was presumably a very traumatic experience for her).

Sometime afterwards she ran away from her family, changed her name to Linda, and joined the Army during the late 1990s/2000s. Presumably she was in Iraq and she suffered from another explosion over there. She is now disabled and now lives in Fat Trout Trailer Park with serious mental/PTSD issues, hence her incoherent rants and rambings seen in her conversations with Charlie during the past few episodes.

Interesting possibility or is just too far fetched, as there's only four episodes left and even if it's true, there's barely any time to explain everything that has happened to Audrey in the past 25 years in just four episodes 🙁 🙁

if Audrey is Linda, it would actually be a relatively quick way to explain who the character is and why she was mentioned along with Richard. Revealing what happened to Audrey and what she went through is easier to do in the remaining episodes than introducing a new character.

And at this point I don't think any theory is too wild. Who would have thought Andy would play such a pivotal role or that Sarah Palmer has a removable face?

I just looked at this still image again, and Audrey is not in a trailer. Doesn't explain much of anything else though.

Have we seen this scene yet?

I'm going to have to re-watch the Audrey scene from Part 13. Guess I don't remember Audrey and Charlie by the door, and Charlie with his coat on.

My outside hunch is that we will not find out for sure who or what Linda is.  I expect that the creators plan to leave us with many unanswered story lines not directly linked to the Cooper and Good/Evil stories.

But isn't Linda directly related to that story?

I mean, The Return literally starts-off (after some brief archive footage) with the Fireman telling Good Cooper to remember Richard and Linda. I mean, it's right there. In the beginning. Told to Good Cooper.

So.... it seems like it should be pretty integral.

Good point Matthew, not that I am a believer of this, but if you buy the belief that the ?????? interaction occurred in the future, you could suggest it might not be associated with the base story.

So far we have 4 hours left and no understanding of his message.

This still image hasn't been shown yet but from what it looks like it seems a follow on from the first appearance of Audrey and Charlie where they have got their coats to go to the Roadhouse.

If you change the L to an e and rearrange the letters, you can change Linda into Diane! OK. That's pointless..... But I had a thought that maybe Linda was Mister C's daughter--perhaps twins with Richard?? But was orphaned along the way, picked up by the Mitchums, and named Candie.

That's completely without corroboration, but I  realllly feel like the Linda mentioned in the CarlMobile is a red herring.

..My theory is Linda is the one texting Diane. It's possible that Linda is actually Diane's child with Mr. C ... it would make sense with what we've seen with the messages...Linda being the one communicating with "dad" and passing it along to "mom". As a Vet she may even have had contact with Briggs...
