Amongst the many threads that begin to entwine- the car-honking woman was screaming about needing to get home because her (really quite unwell) daughter's uncle was going to be there.

Oh!  I'd forgotten about that!  And the young woman at the bar-- Tina's daughter-- alluded twice to an uncle.  She couldn't remember if her uncle had been there when Billy pole vaulted across the 6 foot wall, bleeding from the nose and mouth.

I just don't see how a comatose Audrey could know about that, unless she were clairvoyant, which is always a possibility.

But back to the Uncle tie-in.  I think it's too strong to be ignored.

I guess I don't follow?

The sick girl in the car had an uncle.

Tina's daughter maybe has an uncle?

I have an uncle. LOL

A lot of people have uncles.

How is that a connection? Asking sincerely. Did I miss something?

The young lady at the Roadhouse asked twice if her uncle were there when Billy was last seen.  It's weird that 1) she can't remember and 2) she makes reference to the uncle twice.

When MJ Gilbert asked about the traffic/sick girl scene and the fact they had to get back to no other familial relation than an uncle, yes, that did strike me as odd.

Sorry if that sounded overly simplistic but yes, I did think it was weird! 🙂

If Sam doesn't know, then you'd have to ask the writers on the Mary Poppins film.

"She's my mother's sister's girl."

Who's missing?  The father.  The uncle.  I remember that part from when Lil appeared in FWWM.

Guys, how can a comatose be ageing in her dreams if she hasn't waken up for 25 years?

And who leaves a dear someone this much time in a coma anyway?

I think at this point we can definitely discount the fact that Audrey is in a coma. The people she talked about have been mentioned by other TP residents. She may be in a mental institution though. Sophie / Megan mention the nut place. Would also explain why Audrey's family don't mention her. I'm hoping the detritus, black cloud over TP and the residents who all appear f'd up will be righted once good again descends when bad Cooper dies. The time lines hopefully re-shift then .... and Richard and Linda are obliterated from existence....(2 birds one stone - the expression is kill 2 birds with 1 stone) so I'm guessing bad coopers offspring also need to be killed off. But that's just wishful thinking on my part.

The lack of clear memory makes me think it is lodge/portal related, no one seems to have a clear memory of lodge/portal related beings or events.

So is the uncle a being like the fireman, the giant, the arm, the mother, the uncle.......

Thank you for stating that, as it's loosened an idea in my head....

Since both Cole and Albert seemed not to remember (without the help of Cole's dream) the run-in with Phillip Jeffries from FWWM, do we now think that that wasn't really Phillip Jeffries, but his doppelganger?

Have to disagree here.  The Tina/Billy/whoever business has yet to enter any of the other plotlines, and as far as we know, may not actually be "real".  There was the guy who looked into the RR diner and asked about Billy, but how do we know that wasn't someone's dream?   It was tagged onto the end of one hour, and led to nothing.  Audrey's scene, and the conversations in the Roadhouse can all be part of this same dreamscape.  We haven't seen any of these charachters, apart from Audrey, have we?

It's significant because, at least in the roadhouse scene, the young lady couldn't remember whether or not her uncle was at the house when Billy had his incident.  Mention it once, it's background.  Mention it twice, it's important.

Now, maybe the uncle mentioned in the other scene isn't important but knowing Frost and Lynch's ways of leading us on, I wouldn't bet on it.
