Don't want to worry anyone but take another look at the grab Pieter showed, up top.

Looks like Rick Astley to me.

"Just You...

And I...

Together Forever"

If you listen he moves on to the next window as you can pick up just briefly him working on it too.

Never gonna...

Got a light?

Give you up...

Got a light?

Never gonna...

Got a light?

Let you down...

Got a light?

I think a remix mashup could work.

It's funny that an episode with a reference to The Beatles' "Day in the Life" includes sounds that sends dogs wild. The tone that plays at the end of that song was designed by Lennon to be only heard by dogs so that they would start barking even when then owner couldn't hear it.

The dogs know that Paul is dead.

And I am like a dog on a bone.

It's hard to tell, but I don't think the window cleaner is wearing a hat like the woodsmen. You can sort of see his hairline through the shades, right?

The footage is also repeated; you see him make the same window washing movements twice.

Obviously Leo Johnson.

With his new Gecko Grip shoes.

Perhaps Gordon's vulnerabilities are being tested.  How close do we need toget to Superman with the kryptonite?

This is the last place where I'd have expected to be rick-rolled. Bless Lynch! 😉

For inexplicable, irrational reasons, when I saw that thing I DID think of a ninja.

That scene to me felt like a premonition or foreshadowing (literally a shadow!) that something really bad is going to happen to Gordon Cole. In fact I feared he might drop dead there and then, just as he was about to get the clues together.

I think so too. It's not about the guy washing the window but Gordon Cole and the power of sound.

"Got a light?  Aaaarggh!  Me ladder!"

.

.

.

Splat!

So that's why there are so many woodsmen...

It's all starting to come together.

I think the window washer is THE DREAMER.

There's some kind of code in his wiping motion...I just know it.

Convert to semaphore, decode to binary, translate to ASCII then perform a XOR on the code derived from the flashing plane windows.

You get "Paul is dead" or "Tammy is an owl", I forget which.

Spooky.

new to this thread so apologies if I've missed discussion of this possibility:

Naido's speech reminded me of the sound made by the washer's washing.

Could Gordon's hearing aid be picking up extradimensional speech/sound?

Yes, the squeaking reminded me of Naido's speech too. Seems like the universe is trying to connect through different tongues. And through everyday life. It's one gigantic Lil dancing for the FBI.

Really?

See, I tried that, and all I get is:

ASW!F#! #13SG5%LKMI*F%$(L SF&  A@

Which must be ANOTHER CODE!

This is really getting good.
