I wonder if James in the boiler room is going to somehow tie in the ending to the weird international edition of the Twin Peaks pilot. Like much of this show, it would make dream-sense.

Interesting fact about the actor, Lynch gave him a part of the back of YouTube videos of him doing various accents.

His accent is like I imagine SamXTherapy's accent is. 😉

SamxTx, you are a Northrener, are you not? I picture Christopher Eccelston...

The Fireman screwed up. Should've sent him to Montana to compete in illegal arm wrestling tournaments.

Ha, I was going to say that I saw an arm wrestling match coming but you got there before.

I thought that was a London accent, I really don't know shit about british accents, save for scottish and north England accents.

I definitely see the army of good guys being set up for an epic battle:  Green gloved Freddie, Jerry Horne & Dr. Amp with some golden shovels, Carl Rodd and some trailer park people, Hawk, Sheriff Truman, Bobby, Andy, Naido, Lucy, and maybe even "Drunk" who may be Billy.

There will be battles all over Twin Peaks, and it will be going badly for the good guys, until Cooper wakes up and the electricity goes out.

The timing of Freddy The Glove Guy's introduction certainly suggests that he might use his super powered fist to clobber Mr. C. I mean, it's even Green like the Lodge Ring, for cripes sake. And as someone on the threads already pointed out, both rubber and wood won't conduct electricity, since that might be where Bad Coop and others draw some of their superhuman strength since they can travel power lines.

Hehe, nope.  He's from Salford, Lancashire.  Well, technically part of Manchester now.  Other side of the road from God's Own County, Yorkshire.  😉

And I'm not like the farmers on All Creatures Great And Small, either.

This is me, from around the time Twin Peaks was around first time:

Playing the stratocaster.  Was Take Two the name of your band?

Agreed. I think we're building-up to a mighty showdown in Twin Peaks. And I still think Dr. Amp/Jacoby is a goner, ala the radio station disc jockey in Part 8. Surely that's what these vlog broadcasts have been building up to?

Only thing that bothers me is, we've never seen this green-gloved bloke before (aside from being in the background in Part 2), so if he does end up playing a major role in an upcoming battle of good vs. evil, then that's kind of a cheat to the more well-established characters.

Nah, Take Two was the venue, a kind of Roadhouse type bar in Sheffield.  The band was a "specially back together for a one off" Cardboard Criminals.  An old friend asked us to get together for his birthday party, so we did.  I was in another band, full time, too.

Addendum:  It's my old FrankenStrat, long gone.  Nice guitar I got from a friend for next to nothing.  The wooden parts were great but all the hardware was junk.  Over the years I replaced almost everything.  Sadly, the guitar is no more.

I just keep picturing the Woodsmen crushing skulls and Mr. C caving in that guy's face and can't help but think GreenGlove is a counter to that.

This was definitely the most Lynchian superhero origin story ever.

I forever love Lynch for slipping the Beatles into this.

Woke up, fell out of bed
Dragged a comb across my head
Found my way downstairs and drank a cup
And looking up, I noticed I was late...

Hi Sub,

And don't forget Elk's Point #9

Number 9,

Number 9,

Number 9

Bar!  😉

I thought the accent was over the top too. No one speaks like that in the uk. But guess lynch likes to do things tongue in cheek. English guy living the American dream.

I think the guy with the green glove might have to retrieve something out of the furnace.... maybe that last particle of Cooper has been hidden there or hold something in there, such as bad coop without letting go.
