I can't believe I'm even typing this, but after seeing Part 14, I'm ready to believe anything could happen and this seems reasonable.

Could Jerry have run across across Naido in the woods during his impromptu camping trip, and if so would his foot be able to translate what she's saying?

I doubt he ran across her, but I love the idea of his foot being able to translate.

That would be awesome. Hope your right!

He's got to be involved somehow since he's been in the woods for so long.  Maybe he'll team up with Dr. Amp and they'll wield golden shovels against the bad guys.  I could see those 2 together.

Wouldn't that be amazing? We haven't been able to connect the reasoning for the focus on Jerry's adventure (aside from comic relief).

Dr. Amp lives close to the woods, so it makes sense that Jerry might end up there.  I'm sure there are a few extra shovels lying around the property.  The idea fits perfectly with digging your way out of the shit.  There's a lot of shit going down in Twin Peaks.

My guess is that Jerry got sucked up into the White Lodge while really stoned and the fireman gave his foot some kind of power or something.  At least, that's such a funny image that I'm super hopeful that's what happened. 😀

If Jerry's foot doesn't become a key player in the battle of good against evil there's going to be a lot of disappointed fans on this forum.

Yeah, when he came out of the woods, I thought he had seen something--either Glastonbury Grove or whatever was near Jackrabbits Palace or something.

Could "The foot" be something like "The ARM"? I have no idea.

But if The Fireman is giving special tools to people (green glove, etc) to fight Mister C and his cronies, it would be so cheesy that I would totally go for it. It would be a classic tongue-in-cheek Lynch move to satirize poor film making while also using it for grade-A, art-museum film.
