Andy's Vision - what was that scene with Lucy?

I guess the best way to summarize it is that the Fireman and his audio/video friends in the white lodge showed Andy a sneak-peak preview (postview) of everything that had gone down from the atomic bomb tests to Bob to Laura and "two Coopers", but a few of the images contained in that sequence seemed odd/out of place.

Most notably, there's about 5 seconds worth of footage of Andy walking Lucy down a hallway in the police station.  Why is that relevant?

Haven't had a chance to re-watch yet, but it felt like Lucy was in the same sweater she was in when they put Naido in the jail cell with Chad and the Drunk/(Billy?).

When they brought Naido to the cells Andy said that she's important and someone will try to kill her but she would be safe there. Could that image of Lucy be related to that someone (Sarah) going to the police station and trying to kill Naido?

Yes.  It could certainly be Sarah being brought in for questioning due to the death of "Truck You".  That someone could also end up being Chad.  He was arrested just then for some reason.  I don't like Chad.

Lucy is wearing a completely different sweater. I just re-watched to double-check. The vision scene is future.

During the vision, did people notice that the camera panned in x3 times on the number 6, suggesting the number of the beast?

My observations about that bit:

- Lucy is wearing a mostly white sweater (not the one we see later in the episodes).

- Her hair are undone, not tied.

Very possibly the near future then.

- She seems scared, or unsure. Andy has to hold her shoulders, it's like he's being supportive of something she's doing. Maybe something bad happened, he's aware of it, and he's trying to ease her out.

- Her skin is paler than usual. White makeup..? Andy seems to have his normal skin color.

- She's watching around her. Not moving her head much, but her eyes are moving. What she's scared of is probably something large (a group of people?) or so small she can't find it immediately. To me, it looks more like she's looking for something. Note that Andy moves a few paces behind her at that point, leaving her alone to face whatever she has to face. So maybe it's not something dangerous (otherwise he'd stay there to protect her), just something she HAS to face.

This is all speculation, of course... Maybe in a future episode we'll see she's just caught a cold and she needs a coffee but she can't make her mind on which brand to order and he leaves her alone because he has no time for that crap. Yeah, it's probably that. Well worth a preview from the Fireman. He certainly knows how to entertain his guests.

Note that the Fireman's 4:30, if it's a time, could be 270 minutes, divided by 6 = 45, which is exactly the number of seconds you wasted reading my speculations. It *has* to be a sign. (Maybe if you add 45 to Richard's age, you get Linda's. Two birds with one addition.)

A small detail I noticed, may be of interest: all of the events MAY be shown chronologically: experiment, gas station / convenience store?, woodsman, Laura's death, red curtain, Laura being visited by the angel -- FWWM ending, Naido on the ground, Double Coople, phone transmission, Andy & Lucy, Naido speaking on the grou... Wait, didn't that happen before?

So, if it's chronological, 3 things: (1) Lucy being scared happened offscreen before that episode, (2) Naido has been in that place for quite a while, just nobody bothered to go there and stumble upon her. (3) the #6 pole is going to show up later (which is very likely, of course.)

Wondering if said pole really serves as a gate to the lodges, as is a potential theory around here. I mean, would the Fireman bother to tell Andy how to cross worlds again when he's already there and he's likely to come back the following day...? I don't know.

That's enough food for thought.

First thing I noticed, mate.  Frost and Lynch are fond of doing the good old religion mashup here and there, so maybe that's a clue to the nature of the thing the good guys are dealing with.

At first I thought that something could have happened / will happen to Wally Brando. It was in their body language. Or maybe bad news from Frank Truman about Harry. Or the reappearance of Cooper, in whatever form. Anyway something that could make Lucy over-emotional (more than usual) and depending on Andy's support.

Oh, and another scare, I totally thought Big Ed would set fire to the fuel station at the end of Part 13. Sorry for the double post, but I keep "beginning to remember" that scene, forgetting it and then remembering it again - just like Albert says in Part 14.

She's watching up (to the lights?). She can feel something in the electricity? To me she looks like someone who has to use a power she didn't know she had.

Agree with the chronological thought in the next post,  I got the same idea. But this means the scene with Lucy happened before Naido's.

Oh, interesting interpretation! Not sure if I remember correctly - but, for each shot of the no 6 pole - didn't the image become more and more "in color"? As in first in b/w, then gradually more saturated color?

For me, the change from black and white to color would imply something from the past up until the present. The pole was here before and it's still active and important this day.
