I'll dial back some of the excess in this post (because I think I knocked out a full article last time)
The repeated sequencing of items of threes is very interesting. Looking back on the original series, I can't help but remember the scene where Maj. Briggs shows Cooper the satellite message (COOPER COOPER COOPER). Of course, this becomes significant with The Return where we have three Coopers. But something cool happens in ep. 9: Bobby opens the cylindrical gadget left by his father and is given the directive to go to Jackrabbit's Palace. This message is full of very specific numbers and directives, and I thought it'd be useful to attach a picture of it (hopefully it'll load). BUT! But! What's really really interesting is the second sheet inside of the cylinder, which is on the same type of print out from the satellite message. And it shows COOPER COOPER clear as day, with the third COOPER being cut off in the second O. We've "lost" one Cooper in the form of the manufactured Dougie, and gives us another example of the Major's prescience, especially in the way he uses evidence.
I love focusing on the narratives, both in characters and concepts. It'll always be a thing where I attach a ton of caveats to what I'm saying, but as you have all shown, there are some very worthwhile things to discuss!
