Well we've almost reached the end. I thought it might be fun to say what characters we wish were in the Return that were in Seasons 1 and 2.
I wish: Pete and Harry were in it. I know the actor who played Pete passed away but I really liked him in the original and wish he would have been alive to return.
Now which characters didnt return that im glad?: Dick Treymane, Justice Wheeler and Catherine Martell. I know alot of the fans liked Catherine but I found her quite annoying!

Piper Laurie's strength as an actor made you love to hate her; it also made the story better overall. Who didn't want Catherine to suffer. Jack Nance had such a long, close personal history with Lynch, he was probably not acting at all, one surmises. "Lonesome foghorn", poignant initial image coming from Pete.
I really wouldn't mind seeing the much-hated Windham Earle...(I know, controversial). He acted the hell out of his quirky part. It's like he was riding a bull. The guy would not let go of the crazy. And that video-in-a-video in which he's ranting on about Dugpas--some of Peaks' finest footage.

I loved/hated Cahterine. I think she was such an amazing part of showing another side of the TP citizens. And Piper Laurie is one of my all time favorite actresses.
I don't so much as miss Donna or wish she would return. I just wish she would be acknowledged. Like a passing conversation, "Yes, Donna is living in a commune in New Mexico" or "Donna went to Yale and is now the Chief of Staff for Iowa's senate majority." Something! Just to pretend she never existed bother's me greatly.
And as much as I will probably get dragged out back and beaten with a wet, moldy salmon, I wish Leo would come back. I still want to know what happened to him. If we can get a 4th Renault brother, we can certainly get a walk on, or even a phone conversation with Leo Johnson. He was quite pivotal to a lot of the happenings as well as to our suspense in the original series.

I guess he died tied up by Windom Earle in that cabin. They couldve had Shelly say something about Leo dieing or diappearing to put a closure to that.I hate to admit it but I kind of liked Leo too. He was a enjoyable bad guy. "New shoes"
We assume he died, and he probably did.
But what if he didn't? What if he escaped and went completely insane and is wandering around the mountains surrounding twin peaks, trying to find his new shoes.

Well, Jeffries is a given. Didn't think I even needed to mention that. But his character is at least in play this time around. And we will always envision him as Bowie.
Little Nicky all grown up.....moved to South Dakota, shot Mr. C, ran off to the farm. We could be on to something. 😉
The character I would have liked to see the most is Annie.
Heather Graham even stated that she was open to returning to Twin Peaks but that she was never called or contacted.
The fact that Season 2 ended with Cooper's doppelganger asking mockingly "How's Annie?" and that Lynch had Annie appear in FWWM, I would have thought it was completely certain that Annie would be in Season 3.
My second character that I wish would be in Season 3 - Mrs. Tremond. (RIP - Frances Bay)
I'm actually pretty hopeful we will see Annie. She's been mentioned, very briefly, after all.

Definitely. The way I see it, we've seen Garland's floating head say "blue rose", so anything is possible!
I would like to KNOW what happened to Annie (though I fear I do, I would like it confirmed)
Likewise Leo. If only to find his bones in a cabin in the woods.
