Hi everyone! I've been visiting this website for years and have finally 'joined'. Today's episode (13) has me wondering about a couple of things and wouldn't mind your feedback/ input/ thoughts.

1) At the Palmer residence we see a boxing match looped. What I took away from that is the statement- "And now we have a boxing match." I can't help thinking that this is David Lynch confirming to us that, yes, we are moving forward and Dale will be waking up at a steadier pace. We have the chess pieces in place and are ready for a real game, so to speak, as both sides of the table are stocked (people backing both Coopers).

2) James' song, "Just You" was sung with Maddy Ferguson. Could his singing mean that we will see another Laura Palmer? Leland Palmer did ask Dale to find Laura (after she flew into the air in the lodge). The woman at the Roadhouse was crying.. could Laura be inhabiting her body? There is definitely something with this woman that was crying but I can't quite figure it out.

3) Ed Hurley in the outro: my thoughts are that he will have something to do with 'saving' Norma from a bad business deal.

4) Was one of the Fusco brothers eating creamed corn?

5) Richard Horne recognized his unconfirmed father?

Thoughts?

Hi, Juliana!

1) I think your analogy could be very solid. I simply thought it illustrated how out of her mind/possessed Sarah is going or growing.  But I like the thought! Last episode scared the heck out of me. Grace Zabriskie is a tour de force.

2) Personally, I don't think the young lady at the Roadhouse was Laura reborn or anything, but she has some kind of back story. I'm just worried that we're running quickly towards the end of the season, and they're adding more plot lines with no signs of slowing down or coming to any kind of resolution.

3) I can't believe Ed and Norma aren't together yet-27 years later. Yes, I agree with you.

4) I didn't see any of the Fuscos eating creamed corn.  I've watched twice already, but I will check on the next viewing.

5) I assumed Richard didn't know DoppelDale at all.  But we must be wrong.  They have to be linked psychically or overtly, somehow.  There's no chance in the world that Richard would just show up in the same garage in Montana. I found this to be one of the most interesting things to emerge in the whole show.

So happy you signed on!  Let me know any other theories you might have!

Thanks, Annie! Graze Z is definitely a tour de force.

Did you notice that the girl in the Roadhouse had numbers on her arm? I believe that someone mentioned in another thread that she also had a rose tattoo on her wrist. I'll have to watch again.

The part to watch for is when we hear the commotion in the background of the lady being tased- one of them is eating something yellow. I couldn't see what it was exactly.

True about Richard showing up in Montana. I feel that all stories presented are similar in order to lead to a cohesive ending. For example, Audrey is fighting with figuring out which of the two personas within her is, in fact, her. Also: the music of Swan Lake (white swan, black doppleswan) was playing when Sonny Jim was playing with his jungle gym.
