I'm also totally confused, but I agree, Audrey does not appear to know about who has to be her son, Richard.  Have no idea who Chuck is.  Shocked at the husband.  It does appear to be a marriage of convenience with Charlie.

Ok, granted, it's unclear who Chuck is. But Richard is, as far as we can discern, likely Audrey's son. Ben Horne *just* found out about Richard's involvement in the kid's death. Audrey simply may not know yet. Or she may just be too preoccupied about Billy to care.

I'm under the impression Audrey doesn't know who Richard is.. I mean no one not Ben not even Truman brought up Audrey .. like have you spoke to Audrey , maybe you should call Audrey ?? And now chuck took Billy's truck.. ??

Not sure what Chuck taking Billy's truck has to do with Audrey & Richard.

And, yes, you have a point about the Ben Horne/Sheriff Truman conversation not mentioning Audrey. Hmmm.

Can I be real? I found Audrey's re-introduction into the show to be, well, kind of odd.

Yep. How many pissed-off-Audrey-fan-posts do you imagine are on the Facebook page right now. Can't wait to check it out later on. Haha.

I'm a huge Audrey fan but I'm not pissed off.. I knew she wasn't going to be the same Audrey .. honestly how could she be with everything that happened to her

Yeah, I wasn't implying that all Audrey fans would be pissed, but having read the posts on the FB page every week, I know there's going to be pissed off Audrey fans this week.

Chuck appears to be code for "Richard", but there's a whole Mr. Robot-ish supposition that Audrey is in an institution talking with her psych (as was Elliot) in another thread on here.

Some things I considered:

Isn't it Trick instead of Chuck? See the end titles.

Audrey wanted to go to the Roadhouse to look for Billy, which was on a walkable distance.

The stolen truck might be the truck used (and probably stolen) by Richard, which he ran the kid over with.

My guess is Richard doesn't live with Audrey. Her husband doesn't want him around (part of the arranged marriage). He doesn't even want to talk about him or acknowledge him. He made Audrey take a distance from Richard and has someone looking after him.

The guy that was mentioned by the girls in the Roadhouse and is a "free" man now, isn't he Chuck or Trick? Was he in jail because of the stolen truck and the killed boy?

The guy that joined the girls, was driven off the road by someone. Richard?

In short, I think Audrey, her husband, Richard, the scared farmer, Billy all are tied together.

The phone call was about what Richard did. The husband wasn't pleased, because he was giving him trouble again.

All of this after one view. Will watch again...

There are a few names in that scene. Chuck, Paul, Bill and Tina. Maybe the only one we've  heard it's Bill. Remember the scene at the diner when Austin Lynch (credited as Bing) shows up and asks if anyone has seen Bill? I think it could be related. As for the others I guess we just have to wait. Personally, as confusing as it is, I like Audrey's come back for now. She's mean, almost Diane-ish in the way she drops f-bombs left and right. And maybe I'm getting this wrong, but all the stuff about contracts, rights, cuckolding her husband reminded me a little of Catherine Martell and the old Ben Horne, the one she despised. Also, I don't know if the truck might have a connection with the one Richard used to run over the child and we later see when Andy is talking with the farmer. Maybe the farmer is the Bill Audrey and Bing were lookign for? Maybe it's just a red herring?

I wouldn't be surprised if it was a red herring but I guess time will tell.. but at least I hope we find out

This Austin Lynch (Bing) turns out to be Mrs. Tremont's grandson in FWWM.
